There's the hidden winches which incorporate into your stock bumper for a stock look. The thing is, even doing this, you're putting 100+ lbs out there in front of your front tires. This acts like a lever multiplying the weight.

So then if you do an aftermarket bumper that's even more weight replacing the plastic stock with metal, again, in front of your tires. The front will sag. You will need to upgrade springs. You might need to get the smallest lift possible in order to look as stock as possible regarding lift.

    Just food for thought.

It's an SUV so the springs are saggy. It's not like an f250 where you can add a winch and the truck has no idea.

Indeed. Looking stock, or hiding anything isn't important to me. I will have to go somewhere that installs this stuff, and certainly address the weight issue. Thanks.

I had a lift with medium duty springs and steel skid plates. When I added the lo pro bumper with 12k warn winch I sagged comically int he front and upgraded to heavy duty coils.

The other thing to tho is even if you upgrade springs you might not get the right look you want and may even need coil overs to get the exact ride height for you.

Here's C4 lo pro with full bull bar, C4 skids, and a warn winch with side winder hook.

They fit most standard 3 inch pods as well as some of the smaller pods if you have it set up for them. In these pictures there are some Baja Designs Squadrons and Diode Dynamic SS3's

Those might be Lasfit rock lights. Color temp looks about right. We actually have a discount code for those too if you want

I don't have many pics of the winch install, just the one below. No, the Badlands doesn't fit a 2023 without a control unit relocate. Hard to imagine many brands would fit without a relocate. There's an aluminum tube that runs across the front, smack dab in the way. I didn't do any research to see if that could be moved. I probably would have looked into that if I had known the relocate would be such a pain.

If you don't care about cutting off most of the cooling fins of your passenger fog light, you could put it behind that like I did. The bottom holes are bolted in through the body and the top bolts through a piece of angle aluminum that spans over the body hole behind the headlight. I could get more pics if you'd like.

BTW - the yellow and black is reversed in this picture. It has since been fixed...

I just installed a CBI Covert front bumper with bull bar, Bajadesigns S8 driving/combo amber light bar, Factor 55 fairlead and ultra hook, a DV8 fairlead flip-up license plate holder and a 12k smittybilt X20 Gen 3 winch, in addition to a full set of CBI skid plates. I like the covert bumper as it still leaves the rig looking fairly stock and I like the wireless remote that comes with the smittybilt winch. I did use the winch this past weekend and no complaints there.

Nice clean look. Didn't see an option for the bullbar, but can get it with t shirt.

CBI calls it a "Baja" front bumper and it does work with the radar cruise control, front facing camera and doesn't interfere with the multi-terrain monitor.
