And it doesn’t require any sort of cutting of the factory/stock studs correct?

Do you have any pics of the side of yours after the spacer install?

I don't have any pics on my phone. The tire is just 1/4" out and no other mods on my Tacoma to get them to work. I doubt the Runner would need anything.

Thanks for the info. I’ve read different things online, and some say the stock wheel size is 17x7.5 and some say 17x7. If it is 17x7.5, is there anything wrong with replacing with 17x7 pro wheels? Thanks.

I run 285’s on 7” Pro rims. Works great last long time, but I am in non-compliance with the tire authorities. ;)

Nope, those wheels will be fine. As @Slopemaster mentioned, 7" wide wheels are below the minimum width spec'ed for 285's, the most common size tire people swap to when they lift. But, many are using them without any trouble.

spacers add additional leverage in places its not meant for...if you off road a lot your wear and tear will increase significantly

Yes but different offset wells will do the same. I figure just don't go overboard like with 3" spacers that some people use.

I'm so glad the squat was banned in some states.

My take on spacers is they are good for the people out there that are going specifically for a look and not functionality meaning the biggest rock they are going to crawl over is a speed bump. Spacers are fine for that. For off roading, an actual lift with coils, shocks, and tires is a must. But, we all know there’s different kind of people out there. Some trying to save money an going with spacers, however in the long run it will actually cost them more money if they are going off road with the wear and tear it presents. My 2 cents

This thread is about wheel spacers.....not lift spacers.
