White paint issues (2020+)

I work for the company that owns Southeast Toyota Distributors and get a pretty steep discount on a new vehicle purchase so odds are that I won’t have it 5-7 years before I buy something else. That is unless everything goes either hybrid or electric, which it likely will, so in that case, I’m screwed and I’ll keep this one for much longer.

 

I have Ice Cap white. 7 months old and 6,500 miles. Had 3 paint chips within first 4 weeks. Several more have since appeared.

 

I wonder if I should now get a lunar rock ‘’24 tundra…

 

The Tundra forum also reports about weak paints… it’s all over Toyotas
