I gave them 7 quarts of oil and filter, they had no problem with that and they did a great job.
I was about to buy a quart of oil from them to drain all the old oil out, but they had the machine, even better.

Not worth doing it myself now after I found these guys. They listen to you and do everything in front of you. 15 minutes and you're good to go. In my case they did not have to remove the skid plate, RCI is life saver.
That machine probably did not even leave a drop of oil in there, it sucked everything out

Good luck. 4Runners are great but a tricked out jeep is a pretty rad off-road machine. Shorter wheel base helps greatly. We’ve got a 2002 TJ and love it. IMG_6029.jpg

Small is nice, but that short wheelbase would have me avoiding steeper hill climbs. Flipping over backwards on a steep hill can end everything very quickly!

Yeah, I love lil Jeeps. To me a Jeep is a two door, I don't consider 4 doors Jeep :D

How much do they charge you? And, do they also rotate your tires (since you should be doing that every 5K miles)?

I consider a 2-door Wrangler (or better yet, an old Willy's) the ultimate trail machine.

Still, most folks will never even push the full potential of the 4Runner.

And, to make things more interesting; I've seen situations where a longer wheelbase was more beneficial. I'd say that a shorter wheelbase should be better overall on technical trails, but there are always exceptions.

This also scares me! Side note: Even though it didn't look bad in the video, I was nervous about a rollover in August while I was customizing my exhaust. A 2-door Wrangler with lift and a short wheelbase seems like it would be easy to tip!

Ah yes, the day your exhaust pipe was birthing little mud babies everytime it slid down the rock face into the mud pit at the bottom? Misty eyed memories of good times! :mudding:

That looked like fun trying that climb. I don’t think i’ve got the confidence for that kind of climb yet, but I could see eventually getting there. Nothing like the excitement of trying something that you think you *probably* could do. Although, not a chance in hell I would ever try that in a 2 door jeep. I’ve seen too many youtube videos lol.

My buddy in his 2 door Rubicon looked at the ramp rock a lot of us were doing. When I asked him if he wanted to have a go, he said “nope” with the utmost confidence he was making the right choice haha

$40. Will stop by Discount Tires for free tire rotation, they are near me. They provide free tire rotation for the life of the tires. I am skipping 5k, will do it at 10k lol.

    I remember being able to do a many-point-u-turn on a single track in a 2nd gen RAV4, I'd love to take a 2 door RAV4 for a spin.

Haha! That's funny because I was really nervous about the ramp rock until I saw a few of the guys go up it. I'd been waiting to give it a go ever since watching you do it last September!

This is a great example of a situation where a longer wheelbase was an advantage. That guy in the Jeep last year really made it look hard!

Fun fact. The new Rav4 is as big, maybe slightly bigger, than the 1st gen Highlander. It is crazy how big cars have gotten. I have seen a few old Rav4s on the road and they are small.

Back in the 90's, the RAV4 was so tiny! Now, they are big enough for grown-ups to sit in the back seat.

My last Uber was a Rav4. I loved the ride in the back seat. Super impressed, no wonder it is the most sold car.

This exactly. One of the reasons I like the 4runner is that it’s such an old design, it’s completely avoided the inevitable bloat that happens every time any vehicle is redesigned.

I remember when you could see the bottom of the bed of a full size pick up if you walked by it. Now you need a ladder to see over the sides of a base f150 or Ram.

    $40 plus you provided fluids?

Do they rotate the tires however you want? I have my own pattern that seems to be working very well.
