Check the tire pressures then just start it up and drive it.

Hopefully you have ethanol free gas in your system.

id personally pull the spark plugs, pull the C/OPN fuel pump relay and I would crank the engine over with the starter until the oil light goes away to prime everything.

Ethanol free gas is not required in modern fuel injection systems.

Honestly, I'd just hook the battery back up, check the tire pressure, and drive it.

If you hadn't changed the oil before storing, then I might change it. But, it seems like a waste to change it before and then after sitting. Maybe double check the level and call it good. :notsure:

Thanks everyone, I did fill it with ethanol free gas and put fuel stabilizer in it.

The only thing I’m having second thoughts on now is that I can’t remember if I left the E brake engaged or not. It is sitting inside my garage, not exposed to the elements.

I would not stress about it until after you get it started back up and drive it around. If stored inside, I do not see any issue with the parking brake sticking. Then again, If it does, You should find out fairly quickly if it is.

Why are you filling with non ethanol after the fact? Its not going to do anything before or now.

Just check fluid levels, gas and go.

I've had outboards sitting longer with less worries.

And the cabin filter for mouse nest. Don't want to be breathing mouse urine for a year.

I think there’s some confusion. I filled it with non ethanol before leaving it 3 months ago. My post was asking if there’s anything I need to do before starting it after taking it out of storage.

Yup. My boat motor sits longer than 6 months every year with nothing special done to it.

I noticed that now. My bad. Still wasn't needed but its done already.

If mine sits more than 2 weeks I'm dying to go. But it did sit for almost 8 months last year with the re-power. Checked fluids and fired her up.
