It's a PITA for sure to get the angles right, especially since it changes every time you mount the wings as they push the plastic around. Don't be like me and make it "perfect" since you need a little gap to prevent rubbing.

Now that my PCS faults are gone, plugged the Banks pedal monster back in after a month of driving without it.

No longer feels like I'm towing a bus.

If it was me mounting all those zombie lights around the basket, I'd maybe mount one more, that can illuminate the roof basket, so you can see where everything is. Mount it on some kind collapsible pole, so you can extend it up to shine down on the roof, then collapse it down so it's not sticking up like an antenna.

He's lying, he's not a dog owner. "Husky Mike" is his pimp name. He roams the mean streets of San Diego putting the smack down on his ho'z.

    My secret is out...

Huskies. Some people think Max is part Malamute because he's extra fluffy, but he is a "Wooly" Husky. Mika has some of the wooly fur but not as much as Max.

My daughter and I (mostly me) worked on her '23 TRD ORP yesterday. Upgraded the halogen DRLs to LEDs, with the wire harness mod. Also installed a set of Raptor lights, with a fuse tap to the low beams in the fuse box in the engine compartment. Put some yellow Lamin-X film over her driving lights to make them yellow fogs. And installed a set of raised storage pieces in the doors (advertised as being able to hold cell phones without falling out). Overall a productive day, she's very happy with the results, and hopefully learned a thing or two in the process...

Just did the Meso Hatch lights and wow what a difference, also that's the easiest install on anything I've done yet to the 4Runner.

Put a tray in the center console. Velcro plastic mats on the back of the back seats. Replaced plastic tire valve covers with metal ones. Which I quite like a lot. Makes them much easier to grip.

I like the looks and options that metal valve stem caps offer but you may want to be careful about galvanic corrosion issues that may pop up if using 2 dissimilar metals. Ask an experienced tire shop and they’ll probably have stories of seized caps.

Excellent point and I’d like to add that galvanic corrosion of dissimilar metal alloys generally requires a catalyst in the form of an electrolyte (hint: think road salt or marine environment). A good way to mitigate this (reaction) is to have at least one of the metal alloys in contact to be zinc plated. A simpler means is to use Corrosion-X as a surface treatment/sealer on the valve stem/valve cap threads.

Not my first choice for design options, but there are a couple metal caps with a plastic liner. That's what I'm running now. They have an American Flag on them.

A dab of anti-seize on the valve stem threads (or inside your metal caps) and you'll be fine...
