I put on RCI skid plates on last month and today I managed to install Dob's diff drop spacers; I have to say I'm thoroughly impressed with the RCI Skid plates and their customer service. The skids took a beating in shipment, box was half destroyed and bolt(s) missing but the powder coat held up (wiped it clean and found nothing wrong) and the skids still perfectly straight. I was worried I might need to find spacers for the skids during the diff drop but they fit right in as-is. For your information, the ARB/OME driver side radiator support arm/bracket works great so far with the skids and the diff drop (no rubbing on that bracket so far).

In case anyone is wondering, as for the CBI bumper edge, here is a photo of how the CBI+RCI mate up.. there is barely any gap between them, it's just the bottom edge of the radiator support.

Get these even if you think you're gonna get a high clearance rear bumper, you can always trim down. I did same for my nguyenworks bumper, it looks super clean and covers the small gap that is exposed when take that mudflaps off.

Oil change done, Sliders done. Both more difficult then they should have been hahaha

Marmalade did not approve of the stock running boards. Box was so close to being helpful. They look great, are solid as fuck, proved again how amazing both Westcott and their products are, and brought a smile to my face. Now I need to get out and use them so my wife will stop calling me a poser hahaha

Hahaha making due with what we had at hand! Amazing.

My rack story is here https://www.4runners.com/threads/ro...-sherpa-rubber-mounts-on-westcott-rack.32622/ I thought it was easier than the sliders but I thought about it way more than I had to with the sliders. There is no drilling with any of the Westcott Rack options. You need to use sealant if you use their mounting sleeves. I used Sherpa ones, so that didn't apply to my set up.

Repair the bumper cover attachment point at the rear quarter panel, since that portion of the bumper cover is kept for most off-road bumper installations.

I had to take my truck back to BestBuy to re-adjust the settings on my amp. I had a Kicker amp installed a few weeks ago, to pair it up with the Kicker speakers that were installed from Trail Grid Pro.

The pro of having it done: Super loud stereo that sounds bad ass with lots of bass and crisp highs.
The con of having it done: There was feedback in the speakers and when I called someone (or if they called me) via Bluetooth, there was an echo on their end.

I had the installer turn down the gain on the amp and that fixed the problem. No more echo or hissing when the volume is turned down low. The speakers still sound the same, but instead of turning it up to 25 or 30 to really blast the music, I turn it up to 45 or 50.

Finally wired up the roof lights; KC hider wasn't even close to big enough but that's likely due to my choice of cables.

    PXL_20240122_171444105.jpg

I may revisit this once I get around to having the windshield fixed, but it's not too bad.

    PXL_20240122_171448279.jpg PXL_20240122_171454565.jpg

Also need to figure out a secondary wind fairing; the rack and lights are fine but the solar panel is a little noisy.

I thank you for sharing this. Beneficially, before I install my KC wire hiders facing the same issue.

I bought 1 KC, and then 3 additional 3.3ft lengths. My idea is to butt two up inline with each other hiding wire all the way to roof rack transition. On both sides. Too many wires too many roof loads, fk it I'm installing DUELING KC HIDERS BABY.
I happened to just receive mail; black outdoor silicone, 12ft mock weather stripping wire channel to try out from windshield to roof rack. Larger inner diameter than KC, but lower height. Comes with nice 3m attached, not what the sealants for. So that's plan b, cuz product is pitched for high traffic mall floors and venues.. might actually hold up.
