I went there and it was totally worth it. So much so that I catch myself taking the long way home because another favorite song is playing.

Nice. I would like to do this eventually. Gives it the cleaner look instead of just adding a sub box. Did you sound deadening around the new sub area? Also did you add a separate subwoofer knob?

Yeah. Had the speakers replaced with BLAM! speakers and amps. Sound deadening mats and then tuned. The volume from 1-25 (loudest I've gone so far) is perfect and no one will ever know it's there.

Took advantage of the somewhat nice weather today. Rotated the tires, greased the UCAs and driveshaft today too.

Does the driveshaft only have 1 zerk fitting? I saw one at the u-joint near the transmission, but didn't see one near the rear diff.

There are a total of six, three each for front and rear drive shaft/U-joint.

I guess my eyes aren't very good if I could only find one out of six.

Well, two of them are hard to find, and you may have to rotate the shafts to get at them.

Went to Westcott's Rigs and Roast (second saturday every month) for their Toy Drive. Unfortunately didn't win anything but supported a good cause and scored a set of 5 barely used Toyo tires in stock size for $300. Also grabbed a Christmas tree while I was out that the fam wasn't expecting but was sad about. woooooo

Springs arrived--swapped the rear spacers for 505s (got too dark to do the front) and took it for a shakedown and some swirl marks.

Got a pretty annoying driver's side lean.

The black lug nuts I ordered from my local Toyota dealership came in today. Kinda amazed they came in so quickly.

Changed the oil today at 5k miles. Enjoyed using the Fumoto drain valve and RCI engine skid access panel for the first time!

I thought it’s just a gear limiter. What is to be gained by doing what you’re doing? (What are you doing? I’m curious)

    Today (33s, 5100s, aluminum bumper/sliders, winch):
    PXL_20231210_174515448~2.jpg

Finished installing the 302/505 springs; after another brief shakedown I'm thankfully pretty level side to side with no spacers and the 5100s set at the stock height. 21.5" front/23" rear from the hubs.

It's a tad tall and raked, but I'll add a bit more weight if the rack ever arrives. Might be time to think about a BOTCK; is the shorty the way to go?

Like @semprenissart says, it's pretty much what comes in the Highlander. Whenever I'm in my wife's Highlander, I feel like it takes forever for my phone to charge using those USB ports. I have this for the cigarette lighter in my 19 instead. It's not a clean as the OEM look, but charges much faster.

    https://www.amazon.com/VELOGK-Charger-OnePlus-Adapter-Charging/dp/B097BWKBBN?crid=3IZG451LGMAIJ

One port is for OnePlus/Oppo phones, the other is for any phone that supports QuickCharge

Inspired by another poster, I blacked out the silver rings on the center caps of my TRD OR wheels. Looks better, to me at least. Might leave the Toyota badge silver as I like the contrast.IMG_1788.jpg

Just regular flat black and no glossifier. Just used what I had on hand but it would probably look even better glossy. If I get around to picking some up I might re-do them but looks really good as is.
