Finally got these damned things installed. Lord have mercy y'all! All I'm gonna say is if you have a friend(s) that has/have a shop with a lift, take advantage of that (even if you have to perform certain unmentionable acts). It probably makes it SOOOO much easier to have vehicle on a lift. (Sorry no pics). It's not complicated at all. It's just a PITA to be on the ground, lift those shields up, make sure they're seated correctly, and tighten bolts up.

    Overall, I'm happy with them.

Washed it after months and then tried a new wax. It shines!!
Oh, added some sound deadening on random areas around the dash.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Well for a Viper cut there is no product, you cut the existing bumper. There's lots of You Tube videos on it.

Added these molle panels and shelf to help keep more organized a better when hunting or camping - less stacking moving forward….hopefully. Nothing installed on the panels, not sure if I will or what will go there but I was mainly interested in the shelf. This is made by iTrims on Amazon, I believe these are sold under several different names. I couldn’t justify the cost for name brand for something like this.

Ceramic Tint, D/S grab Handle, waiting for Brite Box Anytime, may add Raptor lights
Friday not as warm as today but think I'll install the DS Grab handle kit from KTJO. Also watching Brite Box Anytime. It's @$106 right now if they have a Black Friday sale or not will purchase it then. Way easier then last anytime I did adding relay/splicing wire in steering column. Obviously more $$, BUT I'm at the age where $$$ doesn't matter if it make's it easier, I'm for it. Maybe Raptor lights. May do interior LED's again too.AT 1st oil change will go W/Aluminum bowl "despite" the hype! (What ever that meant???) Already have tool from last 4R may as well make more use of it.

Since I am a Body Armor steep bumper, so this set up from Body Armor will look good. What you say?

I have the C4 Lo Pro bumper with the high clearance additions, as do quite a few guys on here. It's a pricy way to go but I think it looks nicer than just a viper cut, plus having a winch is nice too.

68 inches, remember that number. Hit a like if you hate air matresses.

No, 33's. Didn't feel like doing a regear yet.

I am on 34s and don't feel the need for regear. The thing drives perfectly fine, except the mpg is crap

I should have done 34s and once these Baja Boss A/T's are up for replacement I'll go up to 34s. I'll definitely stick with the Mickey Thompsons though, I love these tires.

Added some sun visor covers from 4Runner Lifestyle…. As all of the reviews state, they are a bit too loose, there’s some sagging, but it better than looking at those hideous warning labels. Not entirely satisfied but for $12 it’s ok.

Fluid Film'd the frame, inside the frame, underbody, wheel wells, and all steel components. I didn't go crazy and did super thicc layers, so got 2 decent layers with 2 cans. I might use my other 2 cans, we'll see, but looks good and very protected and shiny.

I would strongly suggest using PPE (mask, gloves, safety glasses), old clothes, and strongly advise to do it on the driveway since it does stink. Also, pressure wash before doing it to get all kinds of dirt and wipe whatever remains.

I’ve been wanting to do this. I drive mine on the beach in NJ to fish about 15-20 days a year plus about 4 days on trails. My 2019 pro has a bunch of rust on places that got scraped on rocks and stuff but I’m worried about the frame under my sliders and other spots that are starting to show rust. Will sand stick to the fluid film? Is it recommended for trucks that run in the beach alot?

From what I read yeah sand can stick. I went to Wharton and found sand on a couple spots even before the FF. What I would recommend is apply the FF, then go to IBSP and after you're done just hose it down, I don't think the FF would wash off completely and maybe apply a small layer.

So this isn't something I've done, but something I'm leaning towards. I've seen some posts on FB market for Tacoma TSS black rims in my area. Personally, I like the way they look. Would give me some black rims without bankrupting me either.

Has anyone else on here done these to their 4R?

These are the rims I'm talking about:
