I agree tbh and even thought of getting a crush washer and retorquing it properly, but rather have the paperwork from Toyota about what was done just in case something else happens.

What tire size and lift? Any rubbing?

Nothing fancy, just the common size 285/70R17 tires with Ironman FCP.

Rubbing issues solved by pushing the fender liner forward.

    Newest Lift -

How I cleared the bigger tires (old video with previous lift) -
(This one for Limited and there is a different video on my channel for TRD ORP. Another video coming in Dec for TRD Pro)

I would rate @Yotaholic setup OMU BP-51 + 285/75R17 tires to be superior than mine.

Interesting.....so this harness will prevent the flicker of the LED's with DRL on?
    Thanks

Good chance it will help. If you are running LED's in your 2021 at the moment you are under-volting them which could cause flickering. This harness will will bring the voltage to 12v from the 6v that is being sent in the factory harness.

Look great. Got any spacers on this setup? Looks a bit higher than a typical Pro setup.

    Too much crap
Finally got rid of the fake carbon fiber shifter console overlay and replaced it with a gloss metallic black one, also did all four door supports. Looks way better. The colors are a bit off in the picture but the tan color near the gear shifter is actually a dark bronze that I painted to match my wheels. For comparison, the factory color is a light silver.

A few cosmetic changes … added a paracord hatch strap from 4Runner Lifestyle, went with safety orange.
    IMG_4435.jpg
Also added a center console cover from 4Runner Lifestyle. I’m not sure I like the green stitching but they were out of black. I probably should have chose white but whatever, my console is now safe from my dog’s paws. I’m pretty happy with 4Runner Lifestyle seems like the products they sell are pretty well made. I saw another member of this thread make these upgrades earlier and it kinda inspired me to do the same.

After waiting three weeks for my appointment to get it aligned and tires mounted it finally happened today! Super pumped with how it turned out. But most important was the smile on my wife's face when I pulled in the driveway with her truck.

Looking good! After several years of slowly modifying mine (and many eye rolls from my wife as I discussed my plans), she finally admitted the other day that she saw me leaving the neighborhood and said to herself "damn, that does look pretty good"

Thanks! I bought the Eibach suspension for my wife’s birthday. She had no idea what it was! Lol. I had to explain my plans for her truck and she just rolled her eyes at me. Once I got the lift installed a few weeks ago she said “it needs bigger tires”. “Funny you should say that honey because they’re on their way!” She’s a pretty easy going lady and I love that about her!

I installed a JESBEN ambient light sensor. It doesn't control everything exactly as I'd like, but it's close enough.

What I'd prefer is that the illumination of all buttons to be determined by the ambient light, regardless of the light switch setting. However, I now get what I like with the headlights always on. The interior is so dark and it's so dark in my garage that I can hardly see anything until they're on. The courtesy lights don't help at all.

Eibach stage 2, load lifter kit, Maggie w/ OTT tune... Other stuff.
Shiftpower throttle response controller. So, far so good. Allows one to dial in exactly how sensitive the go peddle is via app. Also has a valet and lock out option. Bit cheaper than the other two big players in the market and really easy to use.

How did you shorten that so nicely? I’m thinking of getting an FJ knob for my new ORP, don’t like that the shifter and trans knobs are so different.

Memory is fuzzy but after disassembly there was only one section that could take a big cut, think it was the bottom. Bandsaw and a Dremel to clear out space for the clips to go back in.

Thanks! That definitely helps. With that description, comparing your photo to a stock FJ knob pic I can see where you made the cut. Don’t have a bandsaw but can probably find a way to do this myself somehow.
