What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

I've had the Prius for about 2 months and so far so good. It's a Prime so it's purely electric range is more then enough for my commute and when I do travel long distances, I get around 50mpg (a lot of mountain passes so probably better on flat lands). We have some of the cheapest electricity rates in North America so I pay pennies to run it day to day. And I have zero range anxiety or charging issues since it's a simple as stopping at a gas station like any other car if I'm away from home. In a two car family it really is the perfect complimentary vehicle to the 4R.

 

Upgraded my recently purchased 2023 TRD ORP:

- Bilstein 6112 front /5160 rear
- ICON 2” Rear Springs
- Fifteen52 Wheels - 17” x 8.5”, 0 offset
- Toyo Open Country RT Trails - 285/70/17
- PakRax Rock Sliders

 

Fog and low beams are factory LED.....the high beams were ugly yellow halogens 9005's

I like it! I sleep in my Runner so I can't really justify the Molle racks, but this seems nice to put some stuff in for a week long camping trip.

 

Yeah, I'm with ya' on that. The molle's are for large items: Shovels, Axe's, etc.. These bags hold the small items. That's what I need. Plus, if I bump into this bag, big deal, it's canvas.

If I bump into a steel/aluminum molle panel: It's gonna leave a mark.

 

Yesterday I removed shiny silver Dealership faux chrome license plate holders and replaced with this one carbon fiber one. Very nice, good price. Which brand are those?

 

China brand like all the non-Coplus stuff, these were sold by Vland. Something different from the c-shaped ones.

 

Are those clear or smoked?

 

Pulled it out of the garage just so I could give our Akita a bath today and took a pic first time on the new garage floor.

Definitely varies by state. In Iowa there are no longer any allowable exemptions - doctor’s note, etc.

 

I installed a Rough Country 2 inch lift with UCAs last night. This morning I took it to get an alignment and while I was at it got a set of Cooper Adventurer AT Force 265/70R17. I also installed a vinyl decal on the rear windows. Don't have a picture cause wife took the 4runner out.
