I used Hella on my 3rd gen with relay and I wasn't sure about using without the relay. Don't you have to have a separate power source if using relay? These are 118db in they have a 133db I believe. I know these work about as good as narcan on someone overdosing at the red light and little old ladies hit their head on the headliners when you have to use them. I'm putting on my 5th gen and it's been so long I couldn't remember.

The ride is pretty good. Not sure what got chopped but it doesn't rub even at full flex on the RTI ramp

I was a bit disappointed on the RTI. The left front wheel kept going on the ramp and way before the left rear wheel the right front wheel was in the air. Will adjust the shocks to the full offroad mode and see if that increases flex in the front. I need to read the EMU BP51 manual.

    Hi Everyone,

I thought this might be a better spot than creating a new thread. I've learned a lot from reading this communities threads the last few months as I'm a new 4R owner. Mostly everyone seems very helpful which is great to see. Guys on the Jeep forums used to be dicks.

I'm sort of at a lost. I ordered a Trail Gear ( All Pro Off-Road) low pro bumper for my 23 4R but I'm having some trouble figuring out how to mount my light bar as silly as that sounds. There just doesn't seem to be any proper mounting holes like one would normally see. If anyone has any advice I sure would appreciate it. I'll attach an image of the backside of the bumper.

    Thank you!

What fuse did you tap into for parking mode?

For the constant power wire, the empty slot between Fog RR and AMI is constant power (at least on my year/ model). You'll still use the fuse tap wire that comes with the kit, but you'll only have one fuse in the tap since there was no fuse to remove from the panel.

Sold under various names, pure chance whether you get the inscrutable initials and an extra big hole or a "4R" logo. Here, here, or here for example. I added some thumbscrews so I can pull the shelf relatively easily. Not remotely MOLLE spaced but a solid aluminum rack you can strap, bolt, or rivnut stuff to.

Still messing with the layout, got some fancy Step22 bags to play with.

Checked the BP51. Decent flex, plenty of ground clearance at 17 PSI. Had to use A-TRAC though. Could've avoided the A-TRAC with some momentum but I wanted to do things slow. Ride is very comfortable afford and I haven't played with adjustments on the BP51 yet. I found 1st gear 4Lo combo not slow enough for my taste. Toyota's braking feature is loud and annoying.

Yeah, it's not nearly as slow as Wrangler. I'd like it to be slower than it is. The braking in crawl control isn't too annoying to me as long as I remember to expect it.

Smart. Looks good too. Wish I had done this on my 08 9-7x, the rear bumper support is completely rotted now, and the hitch ass'y is not far behind. Hindsight.....

Look’s like I’ll be replacing the Front Driver Side Door Lock Actuator tomorrow; I’ve replaced front passenger side two times (dealership did 1st one when it was 2yrs old) … these things have gone up since I purchased last time … $321 OTD …
Purchased at my local O’Reilly’s …
Anyone else had to do this recently?
    I own a 2016 4RTP with 87993 miles.

A buddy of came by and waited for me to finish up doing some paint touch-up on some scrapes on the undercarriage. I was using a little brush and small can of rustoleum. He said “dude, that’s not the Sistine chapel or anything, hurry up!”

    He just doesn’t understand…

The only reason I’m posting this is to let you know…I understand…carry on…

@McSpazatron That's hilarious, you get me, dude!
