havent put too many miles on them yet but my immediate reaction has been they’re great! Super smooth ride and the noise level is noticeably quieter! Although I had worn out wrangler mud terrains so probably any tire would have been quieter lol. The tire shop mentioned one didn’t look like it was perfectly round ( apparently it was noticeable when they had it on the balancing machine) but they were able to balance all of them supposedly. Haven’t noticed it at all yet

I FINALLY got around to installing my ARB dual compressor. Been sitting on the dining room table a month or six. I got creative and just hardwired it with a manual switch and a Metro 150 connector and a "waterproof" Amazon switch. Only using it for airing up and airing down so I went manual instead of using their harness.
275/70/17 airs from 18psig to 42psig in just about 66 seconds.

Nice addition. If you don't mind sharing, why did you choose driver's side vs. passenger side where there appears to be more available space? The obvious answer would be proximity to the battery but I'm curious.

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on this and an ARB locker this summer. Trying to decide on mounting and tube/wire routing.

How difficult is it to get the 4Runner to recognize the different TPMS sensors when you mount up the different wheels?

I used Rago mount (driver side) because I have the C4 dual battery mout on the passenger side for the fridge (that we haven't bought yet) haha. My wife and 8 year old like popsicles when camping and I like ice in my cocktails! Haha! I am a backpack type camper but this glamping is getting pretty nice!

Yeah I've been looking at some, got a full rear bumper + tire carrier on the way, already have relocation wiring planned for the stock camera but might add on one of these mirrors for better viewing.

I have mine on the passenger side with the bandi mount (unfortunately he doesn't make mounts anymore) mainly for what you said tons more space and I don't love the ARB protruding over the fuse box cover.

Thanks for that. I think that's what I'm looking for. I'll have to do some searching for a passenger side mount, but there as to be a reason why everyone fabs them for driver's side. Might end up making my own.

If a single ARB is ok for you. I recommend these guys.

I installed mine last March. No issue. Plenty of room left. Not sure why a twin wouldn’t fit.39B9F32F-33BD-449C-B508-9C16BA5EE90D.jpg

SLEE mount with the switch right next to it…figured I’d have to pop the hood anyways to connect the hose(no air lockers just electric rear)

Thinking of trying out the vertical behind the grill mount from “runnin4tacos”…

save some space but scared of what an accident could do to it

also have to negotiate space with my winch control box once I put my front bumper on

this would then free up space for electrical/power stuff

passenger/driver really comes into play I guess with options down the road…air tank, dual battery, accessory tray, having to/not hanging to relocate other stuff in the engine bay…

I love you guys. Thanks. You know, I've been thinking about a single. My 4Runner is armored and slider'd to the hilt in part because I made a decision to stay small on tires and lift, knowing I'm clearance limited. I've been considering the possibility with 265s I might not need the dual compressor.

Mine is only used for airing up my stock size SL tires after beach runs. 18-34psi take about 2 minutes a piece. Not too bad. If I run 33s, I would get the twins.

We've been running the single with no issues for years. I mounted it in the same spot as the dual I just put it. It has been perfect. I just got a deal on the dual that I couldn't pass up so I upgraded. They say a single is good up to 33" tires and I agree with that. A set of 33" takes a while to pump up from flat with a single but it does it.

Exactly... Airing up is roughly half the time (two compressors haha) as a single. I wouldn't have gotten the dual (even with 33-35's) if I didn't get a deal. The single did great for us. Awesome little unit.

I have no issues, just swap wheels and go. I'm assuming back when I got the second set of wheels and had shop install the tpms they programmed them. The 4Runner is picking up both sets of wheels with no issues.

Upgraded the JBL sound system by replacing the sub and adding a dedicated sub amp. I went with the OEM audio plus solution. Pretty straight forward install. PITA with all the disassembly required in the back - sliding tray, seat, panel, etc.
Sounds really, really good for what it is.
I got a spare, bare factory enclosure to send in to OEM Audio for retro-fit of their sub to the factory enclosure. They won't send you the sub to install yourself. So I went with the spare enclosure to eliminate downtime. Got a factory one now to sell if anyone has interest (pictured)!

PS - if you go this route, it's a great time to add the 120V outlet option to the front of your cabin since you are right there at the inverter location when doing this!

It just needs power and a ground. It seems like the readings are on par with a gauge.

My 3d printer is packed up at the moment in prep for a move, if you can wait a few weeks I can get some printed then.

If not you could find a local printer on fb marketplace for few bucks, this is the STL i used https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4963162
