20181017_202729.jpg why not just put some pod lights behind the top grill?

    2 ways really...
    1) get some taps and clip them on the high beam wires. some dont like tapping wires, I dont mind as long as it sealed up nice.
2)use some wire pins and plug them into the same hole

Well, I'm not installing the suspension on my 4Runner this weekend. I unboxed everything today to be sure that all parts were there only to discover that they had somehow managed to ship the non-adjustable shocks for both the front AND the rear. To say that I was pissed off would be an understatement.

The vendor is making it right and cross-shipping the correct shocks to me so I hope to have them by the middle of next week and can try this again next weekend.

    :frustrated:

Well...the past two days have been....um...interesting for me. I have had the distinct 'honor' of attracting two complete morons with my truck.

I was involved in an automobile crash yesterday...and when I say involved I mean some a$$ clown hit my rear left quarter panel (area) on the way home from work.
His lil sedan got some big, meaty, tire swirls along the full length of his car from mirror to rear quarter panel. His mirror clipped and gouged my fender flare, scuffed my tires but missed my side step.

    ...but wait, there's more....

On my why home this evening from work...another butt monkey hit me in the SAME SPOT on my truck. YEP, you guessed it, the rear left quarter panel area. This genius drove into the back left tire of my truck. Driving from the left lane into the right lane....the lane that I was occupying in slow moving traffic. I was in the right lane that was going to merge in over 500' and this mental giant drove out of her lane into mine and hit me.....500' BEFORE the merge! I was in the lane that would merge....she was in the non-merging lane! My guess is that the beautiful orange flashing glow of my turn signal drew her into my truck like a moth to a flame!

YEP back to back days with crashes by two different "drivers" hitting the same part of my truck!!!

Outside of the scratched fender flare from the first genius, no other damage! ....and you ask how is that possible?!?!
...and my answer to you is my 6" suspension lift and 35" tires boys and girls!!!

However, the second demolition derby dodo that drove into me tonight, jacked up the front passenger quarter panel, mirror and bumper shroud of her car when she decided to wrestle with my truck. When the police got there they asked if I could move off to the shoulder or needed a tow truck to separate us I replied, "Oh, I can move no problem." As I pulled away from her quarter panel I heard the rest of her bumper cover pull away from her front end...wasn't pretty....for her.

ALL that cash I invested into lifting my truck is paying off!! Those tires are bouncing idiots off me like a rubber ball!

Wow…I’m sorry to here about your 4Runner, but glad you’re okay! … and the odds of it happening twice … that’s crazy! … Hope both drivers had insurance and I feel for ya brother having to deal with it all. Good Luck!

No injuries in either 'crash' and even better my baby was not damaged (too bad, minor scratch along my fender flares).

Thank you ALL for your kind words!

Now I need to do somethin' for my baby to reward her for being tall and strong enough to avoid any damage that would have caused me to go to prison for loosing my temper. LOL!
    Any ideas?

Thinking about cold air intake and a upgraded exhaust....maybe...? maybe a throatier should will keep em away??

Thank god that didn't happen because I am to lazy to follow through with that promise! LOL

I dont think an exhaust will stop stupid but it will sound nice. I've got borla the sound is it makes when gunning sounds throaty not obnoxious.
as for cai I dont think is worth the cash. stock intake is pretty good maybe a high flow filter.
that's just me. you do you bud.

No damage to my truck worth squabbling over. Fender Flair has a scratch across it but not worth the hassle of getting it replaced or fighting over who should pay for it. HAHAHa

Dang...I'm lovin this. Looking to buy and install the Warn 100022 bumper with VR10 Synthetic winch on my 2018 TRD ORP. Trying to save a $$ or 2 and might wait to see who's running a black Friday sale (I think Summit usually does) unless someone has a coupon code or has a forum discount. Any thoughts?

I’m shopping as well for the Warn #100022 and the price fluctuates quite a bit on Summit; about two months ago I seen it as low as $630 w/ free shipping … missed out on that one!

Yep, Summit has had a price increase to $773. Almost a 25% increase from the summer! May have something to do with tariffs on Chinese steel although the Warn warehouse probably still has bumpers purchased at pre tariff pricing. I'm going to be patient and see what Black Friday sales bring although the Summit rep said they were not aware of any sale. Bet someone does!
