How do you like the mounts and the lights after living a week with them? I was looking at these (from Canada), but wasn’t sure between the cubes with or without the additional LEDs on the outside edge of the cubes.

Replaced the OEM grille with a cheap Chinese knock off. Surprisingly, found one on the Walmart website for less than $100 (free shipping). Didn't come with any instructions, but enough videos online gave guidance.

Like any knock off, there is always some small issue. In this case, one of the "O's" looks a little wonky. From far back, you can't really tell. Up close you can tell it's a little "off." Overall, I'm pleased though.

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/2-Piece-...ta-4Runner-TRD-PRO-2020-2023-Black/1223066556

I also added some white shackles from Amazon (can see in the pics). Really for aesthetics.

The little divots in pic 4 allowed me to somewhat properly align the letters up after removing the red taping. I played around with the letters before taking the tape off, but either way, that "O" is gonna be wonky. I suspect that the issue has something to do with patents. A letter being "off" keeps the company who produced this to remain out of courts with Toyota.

Applied a little mud - made a run to the dump which is about the only place you can drive in mud around here :(

Added hers and his Gunner dog kennels for these two.
Small on the left (15lb dog), Intermediate on the right (50 lb dog).

Beautiful pups! And Gunner crates are supposed to be the bomb, but the interior volume is so tiny for the space they take up in a vehicle. I went with a Ruffland Intermediate (the "SUV" model with a sloping back) for my girl, who is 60lbs. She would have been too tight in the Medium Gunner, and I would have had a hard time fitting the medium in the back of my 4Runner next to my sleeping pad, let alone the large. So for me, the Gunner unfortunately wasn't an option.

Great looking rig! And we all know that silver is the fastest color. My silver beast looks quite similar, and I like that you've de-badged yours...I plan on doing that this weekend.

Thanks! No debadging here - TE. My black utility trailer shows off the landfill mud much better, especially since I removed the mudflaps when I went to larger wider tires with an offset.

Oh, my mistake. I didn't realize they came in a trim that didn't have some sort of badge between those rear windows. It just looks too bling for my taste having the silver "TRD Off Road" lettering on the side of a silver vehicle. That's why I want to remove mine.

Thank you, Jedi! I agree with your comparison. I looked at the Ruffland too. I saw a review where a dog had chewed the plastic/rubber that covers one of the interior fasteners. This was a dealbreaker for me because the Malinois mix is a chewer (have the chew kit on the Gunner). We have an Impact crate (also with the chew kit) for him inside the house.

I think I may have seen the same review, or similar. I'm very fortunate in that none of my Mals have been chewers (well people, but not plastic crates hahaha)...priers and benders...but never chewers. My current pup has figured out how to use her claws to open the latches of the generic Petco style crate I keep her in at home, but so far she hasn't gotten out of the Ruffland. She also loves it for some odd reason: I have both crates in my bedroom currently while I'm rearranging my truck, and when it's time to put her in the Petco crate she does it very begrudgingly to the point I have to give her a shove on the butt to get her in sometimes. The brand new Ruffland, on the other hand, she stands outside the door tail wagging waiting for me to open it and then runs in. It's bizarre, but evidently, she feels way safer/ more comfortable in the Ruffland.

But here's a funny story about crates failing. Years back I was standing around with a group of other handlers, shooting the breeze, during a break. The agitator was also with us, and still wearing the bite suit. Out of nowhere a 70lb fur missile comes flying and takes the agitator out. We were all laughing so hard we couldn't get the dog off. The thought of an enterprising Mal just taking it upon himself to get an unscheduled bite in. After a few seconds someone said, "Whose dog is that anyways?" (when they're going 30mph it's tough to tell them apart). With great embarrassment, I realized it was my guy, Thor. I pulled him off and put him away, only to be told by a bystander that he'd launched himself out of his crate in the bed of my truck like the door wasn't even there when he saw the agitator chatting with us. Dogs seem to have one goal in life, embarrassing their handlers. Hahaha

This was Thor. He's been gone for many years, but I still miss him. They are way too easy to get attached to, and Thor was a sweetheart.

Got the last piece of the Ram Mounts to hold my phone via the ICS dash mount. I’m using the x mount for my iPhone 13 Pro in its case, on the Ram Mounts shortest attachment arm, and a diamond 1” ball mount on the ICS. Seems pretty solid, and top of my phone lines up with edge view of hood (so no view obstructions).

Enjoy! I’ve been Offroad with these 3 times, and driven in the snow a handful of times on the street now. Still young tires at 4,200 kms (2,600 miles), but enjoying them and haven’t felt any regrets (except maybe wishing I went a bit bigger in size).

New Morimoto XB led headlights and matching taillights. Raptor lights.

The frustrating part is the 4banger fog lights... Look great but struggling to get them working.

Saw few people say good things about Lasfit floor mats, so I tried myself. They are definitely better than OEM ones. I might have got too excited when rear mat fit like a glove :p

    https://youtu.be/xoyPWDF-Zfc

Lasfit gave me a coupon code = LR. Feel free to use that code it if anyone want a discount when buying them. After the coupon code its $101 in total. But don't quote me as taxes might change for others.

I was going to go bigger, but I figured this will give me some time to work on the suspension then rims and by that time, a new set of tires, something bigger :p

What's the issue with the fogs? I just installed and uninstalled mine without a problem.

I don't think Limited fog light removal is easy as other trims where just open the front part of the fender liner and remove the screws. This is based on what I saw when I just change the bulbs on the Limited fog lights.

It looks like he's got them in? Is the harness equally weird on Limiteds?

The wire and holder looks same but when I look in it looks like I need to remove more parts to remove the fog light housing. If I were to remove the bumper there is more stuff like the parking sensors.

Love to see if Ken found an easy way to remove the fog light housing.
