So I installed the toytec 3inch coils front and back. Now when I drive I notice that when I am going straight, the steering wheel is tilted to the left. Also On the highway I feel like I have to correct the steering more often in order to stay in the center of the lane. Do you think it is because I need to do an alignment or because I need UCAs? Your opinions are appreciated

Definitely need an alignment after most, if not all changes to suspension. I had the same experience you're having with only leveling out the front.

So I was really stoked when those came out for my Tundra, but some guys on the Tundra forum were saying they’re too bright. I haven’t bought them because of that. What are your thoughts on the ones you bought for the 4R? White light too bright? I had the same thought of just running the red light for the kids and the white light if I need to find something.

Added Morimoto LED sequential mirror lights. Also changed puddle mirror light since I had it apart. This upgrade makes you realize how fragile the mirrors are, pretty much all plastic. Even Lego is probably stronger.

I managed to swap LED’s into the puddle lights but getting it done without breaking a tab takes some finesse. Can’t rush it.

It can probably be done, but will likely need to tap into front turn signal. Beyond my Lego skills.

For the map lights there are buttons so you can turn on both or either one. Or disable both so neither turns on when you open a door. The MESO map lights have two buttons to select red or white light for each map light.

I’ve been using red at night for both map lights and also the dome light. If I want it dimmer I disable the Door position on the map lights and rely only on the dome light to illuminate the interior when opening a door.

I really like the red light for camping, which doesn’t attract insects like a white light does.

They definitely are pretty bright. We've been leaving the front lights off and only using the middle light. And then the map light just as someone stated above. The whole reason we got them was for the red and my 8-year-old in the backseat wanting the light on all the time and I couldn't handle driving at night like that. The red definitely fix that issue. As for tactical, definitely not the intention! Just surviving the 8-year-old! Haha. Those are just the wetakole seat covers and I will admit the front Molly panels are super useful for radios etc when we're out with the group

Do you have a plan for your OEM ones? I am wanting to retrofit a set into my Pro, but would prefer not to buy a set just to learn they will not just bolt in.

I was only going to keep them aside as back up, in case the new ones don’t last or breaks on the trail. By retrofitting, do you mean using these in your existing housing or you’re going to get new mirror housings. Just curious as these are mounted in with clips, and 2 screws are for the housing on the back, and that housing helps secure the bottom half of mirror together.

i want to remove the black plastic piece that is bolted into my mirrors and see if yours will bolt in place. I cannot imagine Toyota would have completely different housings, but I have been wrong before…

Bought some vinyl decals from @MyWyfsRnnr. Gave him a bit of challenge, but he got it done. Installing was a bit of a challenge (lining up everything correctly). Taking them off was just as challenging (got love it when decals are wet and trying to keep them in place). Anywho, here are the installation pics and results.

Also got OEM roof rack cross bars installed. Easy peasy.

Made some changes to my 23 Pro. Installed Morimoto headlights and some Diode Dynamics amber fogs. Also installed taillights, all this was on my 22 SR5 that I traded for this last Friday. Also got windows tinted on Tuesday. Lift wheels and tires on the way.

Yes. I’ve done it. Not cheap though. You have to buy the housings from Toyota. Then the retrofit harness from @Oldred. My MY21 Trail also needed coding, I did through Carly. But now I have folding, puddle light mirrors with sequential turns. The housings are the expensive part.

Installed a MillerCat shield today. First major mod after 2 weeks of ownership. Also got a coat of Surface Shield on/in the cross members and front half of frame while I was under there.

Stainless. The thickness between the two isn’t much different (16gauge vs 12gauge) and MillerCat actually recommends stainless for maximum theft prevention.
