After relocating the RedArc RedVision display, replaced the solar panel bolts with stainless steel bolts due to the original rusting.

Changed the front coils from ADS to Icon and changed the rear spring from mid to heavy weight icon. Saw someone on here say to use ratchet straps to move the rear axle around. Just want to say a big thank you to whom ever that was and to this community.

I had done some stuff and lost my rake. Got my rake back. I like the rake. Also like to not blind other drivers as much as night.

Well, yesterday we added a new family member. I was checking the local Humane Society and saw they had a GSP puppy. We've had a half-dozen GSPs over the years and lost our last one last winter and we only had our GWP/Griffon this last year. It seemed providence since he was picked up a few days after we left on vacation, was spoken for and never claimed and put back up on the website yesterday.

On the other hand, we have forgotten how much effort (?) a 7 mo-old puppy can be.

Pics eventually. TOo damn busy to remember to do them. Going to NM cabin at 9,500' elevation. Completely off grid. Leave Wednesday. Had T-Day with my kids and their SO's yesterday. Still full.

Installed the Cali Raised Basic roof rack. Should have bought the complete one. I will post my thoughts later as there were some shortcomings but overall its a nice piece of kit. Ordered the dual function 42" lightbar. Broke during shipping so that will go on in the next few weekends. MOLLE panels installed in the back with a mix of old and new bags. Filled her up and packing tomorrow. Wife, 3 dogs and me.

Was a productive weekend. On Saturday got my Victory 4x4 center console molle panels installed. Fairly straight forward.

    20221120_161814.jpg

Sunday got my Expedition Essentials power accessory mout installed. Was a bit of a booger bear, but got her done! Powered up and charged up phone after riding around for an hour.

Looks good! Did you end up using the Ironman quick brackets? If so, how did they work out for you?

Thanks. And yes, used the Ironman quick release brackets. For my use, those brackets are THE way to go! I installed a couple of wall hooks in the garage and that’s where the awning lives until I need it on the 4R. Easy Peasy. Now I’m trying to find a combo lock that fits the Ironman bracket.

Adapting pretty well. Looks like maybe an ear infection (GSPs are prone to them). Relating better to us and getting along well with the GWP/Griffon (still learning her rules as well as ours ;-) ).

Nice. The Lunar Rock has a cool blue hue in this pic, not sure I've seen it like that before. Great color!

    I added two items:

First, I've been sitting on these Meso Custom black-out door handles for a couple months. Finally got around to installing them. Took less than 3 mins total!

    MesoCustHandlesDrvr.jpg MesoCustHandlesPass.jpg

Next, I installed Cali-Raised Rear Molle Panels, both sides. Been waiting to make sure I thought I could make good use of them, and I'm certain I can... plus 4Runner Lifestyle has a great sale on them right now. These only took about 30 mins to install. Easy-Peasy.

    CR_Molle_Both.jpg CRMolle_Drvr.jpg CRMolle_Pass.jpg

Now I just need to figure out if the Canvas Back Side Covers I have been waiting to install will work with the Molle panels. These pics show me that I need to stop scratching thing up in there!

I’m using these master locks. The fit is absolutely perfect, super snug, no play at all. They don’t move around or rattle. The longer shank makes them easy to slide on and off.

Weather wasn't bad for November. Changed the rear diff fluid. Maybe a bit overdue at 82k miles. Drain plug looked fine and the old oil was still semi-transparent. Didn't take much effort to loosen the plugs. Hopefully tomorrow the weather is the same so I can get the front diff and xfer case done.

Thanks. I like it. Especially the no rattling thing. And, yes, at least a 2” shackle.
Trying to find a combi one so no lost keys!
If I strike out will go your master keyed route.

Ha. Depends on how much you want to save the seat backs, I guess. I'm sure someone out there makes cheaper alternative, but these are definitely the best and will last and will protect. Unfortunately, they appear to not sell just the seat back covers.

Replaced the oil in the front diff and xfer case. The oil looked almost new in both even with 82k miles.

I also replaced the Allen bolt plugs in the front diff with hex bolt plugs. The old plugs were rusty and I don't want to take a chance on stripping them in the future.

Haven't done it yet, but finally purchased some JBA UCAs for my rig. The wandering at highways speeds has been terrible and proper caster is impossible. Can't wait to finally drive without feeling like I am battling against every bump, slant, groove, and wind interference when commuting. Long overdue, but better late than never I guess!

Update: Ordered an hour ago and the UCAs have already shipped!!! Wow!

Just installed the Meso customs dome lights in our 2018. Pretty nice for when the kid wants to use the light in the back we can just flip to red
