What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

So sorry for your loss. You’re doing the right thing. Spend as much time with your mom as you can, you will have no regrets. It’s so hard losing your parents. Remember the good times and what an awesome job they did raising you.

No words I say here can ease the pain your going through. Losing a parent is never easy. My own dad passed away at 43 from bad health issues. I was 23 at the time. I'm now 41 (42 later this month).

We all deal with death and pain in our way. You simply will have to find yours (whatever/however that may be).

I pray God gives you the peace and assurance that surpasses all understanding (or whatever your religious beliefs may be).

As others have said, enjoy the time you have left with your mom. Even on her or your bad days, attempt to find the good in it. And most of all, cherish those memories. As the old hymnal says, "Precious memories! How they linger. How they ever flood my soul!"

Yeah it’s been a lot in a short time, but once my mom passes I can move to the mountains finally.

 

Family first toys second, You are doing the right thing even if it hurts a bit you will be glad you did. I hope you and your mom can make some good happy memories before she goes.

Does anyone know if I can install side mirror sequential turn signals on a 2015 4runner that did not come with side mirror turn signals?

 

Used it to tow ATV to go riding Ashland,Pa. Reading Coal site.130+mi round trip. about 1/2 tank of gas.

 

We ended up getting the 4runner a companion. 2022 Tacoma Trail Edition

After many miles, both asphalt and offroad, somehow the 12v water heater rod melted the plastic surrounding it and the rod fell into the tank. After much thought, and NOT wanting to remove and replace the tank, I came up with a jerry-rig alternative. Flipping the bulkhead connector over, so that the flange is on the inside of the tank to hold sandwiching the tank between aluminum mesh and filling the inside and outside gap with JB WaterWeld. So far it's holding up after filling the tank until it overflowed. Will check on it tomorrow and in days and weeks to come, if it makes it that far. Fingers crossed.

 

where did you get the felt from and did you use a glue gun?..looks super clean

 

I used exo ceramic coating yesterday I am packing up right now to hit the trails I will let you know how it does.

 

i feel for you brother. Lost my mom in 2017 to MDS (blood cell cancer) and my dad in 2018 to undiagnosed colon cancer tumor. Its horrible and Im still having a hard time dealing with it. Not only were they my parents, but my best friends. Hunting, fishing, sports,,,,did it all together. I’ll be thinking about you

I built a cheap deck for hunting camp to sleep on. I thought about purchasing a system but ended up doing this first to see if I like it.

 

I did the same! I slept inside for 17 days of a 20 day trip. I was incredibly comfortable! I only kept the bike inside for one day. I completely removed the rear seats for additional space.
