Never had this problem on our 4runner, but our tundra needed a lot of trimming.

    Wait! What?!?!? Ordered! ;)

Seriously though. My splash shields are a flappy mess. I probably should be getting something a bit better than stock.

Cool. During my installation of those guards, I was wondering what it would be like if they were made of aluminum....I will see in time how those ARK work and maybe I will look for someone to make some aluminum in the future.

I imagine there has to be room for movement between the body and frame. Body mounts are rubber and probably move more than you realise!

I hope they work out for you just as much as for me. I need to save your profile on this forum or start following you more closely and keep informing you about possible mods and extras. Your description on your profile works on me like a reverse psychology. The less you want it, the more I want to do it to you..... Geez, I speak like a 7 year old kid. lololol :D

Yes, that is true. It all moves and such, but I wonder how much. I need to think about it. Maybe some hinged or spring type of brackets for it.... I really do not know, I was just wondering....:cookiemonster:

I had to pay for it because it came with it done already. I wouldn't have gotten ice cap color and had to take what the dealership offered me. 159 bucks extra and I planned on doing it myself. Oh well...

The longest drive from TN to AZ while towing the boat took 34 hours and much, much more gas than anticipated. I was able to tow 6’x12’ enclosed uhaul in 29 hours, but there was not nearly as much wind as this past trip. This trip I was battling 20mph headwinds for hours, so with the Yakima 16 skybox and the boat, the mpg’s dipped into the single digits, making it the worst I’ve ever seen. Turns out the boat is much heavier than I thought by 800lbs so in reality with the gear it’s closer to 3700lbs. Usually I get around 15-16 mpg’s while towing the boat at the same speeds as this trip, but with the wind and the roof pod it became a thirsty and very long drive.

All said and done I’m glad the boat, truck, and myself made it safely without issues! I’m looking forward to having the boat out here for the winter and fishing some new lakes! Now it’s time to reorganize the garage because I was too exhausted to do that last night!

A word to the wise for anyone else wanting to order these - order from Amazon Prime instead of from cupholderhero.com. You'll get them much quicker.

Discovered today that the passenger side central piece of weatherstripping for the roof has blown off down the highway somewhere, so, I've got another section ordered.

Nope. They're somewhere in Colorado, per tracking. The purchase on cupholderhero.com apparently went through some outfit called Shopify (unbeknownst to me until I got the order confirmation), and lo and behold, Amazon got involved in the delivery, but it's not the usual Amazon delivery. It is somehow mixed with USPS, and is leaving me wondering if I'll ever get my order. I already contacted cupholderhero.com, and they told me I have to wait another 3 business days to not have my order, then they'll send a replacement.

I had the same thing when ordered on their website and received them I think within like 7 business days or so.

It's just me. I got too used to free Prime shipping arriving in 1-2 days. I'll live until these arrive.

It did surprise me when tracking showed shipped from Iowa. Their website says they are in Chandler, AZ, and I figured a couple of days from AZ to NM...

They probably have them made somewhere where it is cheaper to make them, but ordering them from Amazon makes more sense since it takes less time. Amazon warehouses are literally everywhere....

This weekend I will do some research about the hood scoop decal. Do you know know anything about it?
