FYI, Amazon has that and cheaper than the dealership. And delivered to your door. Only $10 without the TRD.

His wife must not know about his mods. That's the point. And the TRD mark is important.

    1. Much thicker than stock.
    2. Sit very tight, no flapping.
    3. Reach over the spring coil by increasing the coverage area.
    4. 4runners on youtube have them too....lol

Just on the front of the front wheel wells. Only trimmed 1” at the closest point. See images below.
The rear of fronts are close to the mud flaps but clear 92BE1EFB-3A27-414E-B090-30A0526B75FA.jpgAD8A5F90-514D-4D14-B315-FE0E5C5B4F64.jpg

As you can see from the images, the Pros have had the front well covers moved forward so all I had to do was trim the bottom of the plastic bumper piece. Non-Pro’s might have to do the simple wheel well cover relocation. That process is explained in detail elsewhere on the forums.

Good to know! Eventually (after we actually get the Pro later this month), we'll put some bigger tires on it. Seems like 285's might actually be an option. Had to do similar with my Tundra but in the back.

Never had this problem on our 4runner, but our tundra needed a lot of trimming.

    Wait! What?!?!? Ordered! ;)

Seriously though. My splash shields are a flappy mess. I probably should be getting something a bit better than stock.

Cool. During my installation of those guards, I was wondering what it would be like if they were made of aluminum....I will see in time how those ARK work and maybe I will look for someone to make some aluminum in the future.

I imagine there has to be room for movement between the body and frame. Body mounts are rubber and probably move more than you realise!

I hope they work out for you just as much as for me. I need to save your profile on this forum or start following you more closely and keep informing you about possible mods and extras. Your description on your profile works on me like a reverse psychology. The less you want it, the more I want to do it to you..... Geez, I speak like a 7 year old kid. lololol :D

Yes, that is true. It all moves and such, but I wonder how much. I need to think about it. Maybe some hinged or spring type of brackets for it.... I really do not know, I was just wondering....:cookiemonster:
