I have a Sperry & I can't remember digital multi meter. Used Flukes at work for too long, now I'm in Mgt BUT When I see those flukes I just wantta buy one for the sake of owning one. The wife gives me crap for buying tools but I still do as W/Ammo/Guns & hopefully a new CBR1000RR to go W/HD!

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
Oof, if I was going to spend that kind of money on a swing out tire carrier, I'd buy a Rigd one. It's more versatile and has more accessories.

Good on ya. Just bought a new lil gun myself this week. I still have the old, cheap analog meter my step dad let me have when i was 15. The thing still works great to. I also, got into fluke set ups at work, and now own a shit ton, when a few places i worked at, bought them for us years ago. No one does that anymore, thats for sure. Happy shooting, wheeling, and riding mate.

I upgraded my maps with this chip. I don't have a smart phone so I rely on the nav. system in the 4Runner. I figured it best to keep it updated and for $40.00 it's not too expensive.

Upgraded my tires from the Dunlop’s to Toyos. I kept it stock size since I don’t plan lifting the truck till warranty is up. Ride still seems quiet … granted not on a concrete hwy, just tarmac roads at 60-80 kms an hour.

Morimoto headlights went in today. Surprisingly easy install. Front bumper removal was super easy with a second set of hands!

While not done today been working on it for some time and finally got to try it out on a recent trip. Shower setup version 3.0. This version with an awning bonus. While not a frequent user of an awning because I move a lot I thought to come up with an awning that did not add additional weight to the 4Runner's top or required additional parts. While I have seen the many simple and light choices I did not want to add more parts.

Nonetheless, this is what I came up with. Found these rails that weigh near to nothing and are commonly used in the marine industry (https://www.sailrite.com/Flex-A-Rail-Black-90-Long) to attach fabric by simply sliding the fabric through the rail, for example, a shower curtain. Attached with 3M VHB tape to the inside of the hatch, for the shower, are two black rails. Attached on the outside roof, also with 3M VHB tape, are two white rails, one on each side of the 4Runner. Will they last the test of time or Arizona's heat? Time will tell. On the passenger's side, it can be used for changing or using the toilet. On the driver's side it's a regular awning. Or two awnings at the same time--going from no awning use to overuse, pun intended. The rails allow the curtain to slide in and out on either side and as needed. The idea came from needing a place to hang the curtains after showering. Initially, I used magnets but was not sure the magnets would hold if a wind came along. Anyhow, all rails worked, the shower, and awning. The toilet side needs a bit more thought as it's a bit short on the viewing side. Maybe a notch in the rail to lower the curtain through earlier. The poles I use for assessing the depth of muddy water before driving through or not.

Lastly, for those who asked about the window covers and the windows going up and down. All the covers stayed in place, no light gets in or out and in that sense better than the WeatherTech covers, and even with keeping it somewhat cooler inside, if possible in Arizona's summer. All the windows go up and down and the film has stayed in place. I was surprised too. Having said that, it is the first trial. A year from now who knows if it lasts with using the window?

Broke down and got the TSO grill. My attempt and painting a cheap one didn’t turn out how I wanted so…. I had some plasti dip and sprayed the letters black.

For all of you out there who bring your cars to the dealer for oil changes please watch this. He used to work for Toyota for years, he knows what he's talking about. You think they are using Toyota oil? They are not. The more you know.

I hardly ever use the running boards but my wife needs it to get in. I don't care for the look of the stock one either. Swapped them out to the trail edition boards instead as a compromise. Sliders are nice but can't justify the cost as I won't be taking any challenging trails in the near future. Definitely do like the design and the fact they sit tighter to the rocker panel. Not bad considering it'll be a free upgrade after I sell my stocks lol

Yes, there is a picture of a 4Runner. not sure if you meant that, or a blue person in CGI from the movie Avatar? :)

Hey everyone, first post. Brought home a new to me 2021 4runner ORP, (Sunday). First Toyota in 42 years of driving. Last vehicle was a 2015 Chevy 2500 Duramax LTZ 4x4. The ORP doesn't have the get up and go but rides nicer. Can't wait to get out in the dirt and start modifying of course.

was driving home last night...accelerated going up a slight highway incline to pass a car and got the flashing exclamation point for about a mile. then it was just the exclamation point and then in another mile it was gone. according to the manual, that is an air pressure warning, but...all tires are good...wonder why that happened? it was not there at all in my drive in to work today either.
