yes it has a few Velcro patches per piece. Seems to hold in place well. If I see it start to move around I will add some more.

It would fit ok right in front of the dome light. Or maybe as a rock light? Or maybe even an awesome engine bay light, just wire up a mercury switch or something so it come on when you pop the hood.

@Burnt Taco . I have not. Went on vacation last week in the Tundra/Rpod combo. Next week I’ll take it to the mountains and see. I had the same tires on a 16 and it didn’t rub but we’ll see.

PXL_20220524_181739849.MP.jpg PXL_20220524_202243178.MP_2.jpg Thank you to @MyWyfsRnnr for the vinyl hood scoop decal! Put it on today...quick shipping, clear instructions and very easy to do. figured i would pop off the front portion of the scoop and plasti-dip it to match. blacked out the rear too while i was at it. was going to go with the graphite pearl metallizer that @banxwondar did, but it wasnt coming out the way i wanted to so i went back over it with black. its ok for my first time. i need a very small amount of touch up, but overall im happy with it. wire brushed the receiver and hit it with black chassis paint as well.

for once it wasnt pouring or 95 degrees so i took advantage.

Do you have any pictures from further back to see what the hood decal looks like with the whole car?

I have had my new to me 4Runner Limited for about 3 weeks now. Changed over the low beams to HID, high beams to LED, and Yellow LED in the Fogs. Put on the "Fuel" wheels and BFG Bajas Champ rubber. Lastly I added a recovery shackle to the OEM receiver. Next thing is to tackle the running boards and replace them with a Nerf with steps. I.m about an hour away from the Rockies and would explain the snow in May. ;)IMG_0232.jpgIMG_0227.jpgIMG_0233.jpgIMG_0234.jpg

    Just an FYI:

If you are looking to get some matte grey TRD Rims, I've shopped around the parts.toyota.com website from various dealerships across the country, and the Greenville, SC dealership seems to have the best going rate at $161.25/piece (vs. $215.00/piece). Others dealerships vary in rate. If you use code "FREESHIP" it'll save you on shipping (obviously). They do charge sales tax, but it'd be worth in my book.

Last Saturday, I Finally got around to waxing the truck. Did wash, clay, mothers step 1 polish by hand (essentially paint cleaner), collinite 845. Removed the millions of water spots that etched in over the last two years of parking outside since it was previously waxed.

Added a C4 Fab lowpro front bumper and a Rigd sidehack with a Expedition Essentials propane tank bracket to the rear. Waiting on a 30" light bar now. I think I need a build thread soon.

2022 ORP. Only some minor cosmetic mods at this point. Getting the bumper covers wrapped in matte black soon. Thinking of a leveling kit next, after that I'm not sure. Possibly a small wheel offset. A half or third rack couldn't hurt but I'm not sure the road noise and price justify the small amount of use I would get out of it.

Thanks man! Its a Rigd Supply Ultraswing. Great solution if you don't want to run a full bumper with swingouts

Rustoleum will probably work if it's not subjected to salt. I rattle canned my rock sliders and they were salt blasted and rusty after one relatively mild winter. I stripped the paint and am waiting for the POR 15 to dry as I type this. 2 "rust protection" coats followed by 2 coats of POR 15 Top Coat.

Bought the first set of new tires for my 2019 TRDOR today. Continental Terrain Contact ATs. 92k miles on the original Duelers which actually rode and handled well the entire time. I wanted something a step up as far as aggressive tread, while still being smooth and quiet. Same 265/70R17 size, not an upsize. My tire guy steered me right once again. Only about 50 miles so far, but I like them.

Also did rear brakes yesterday. Hard to tell from this pic, but at 92k miles, front pads on both sides were only half worn. So I left them alone, and am hanging on to the new pads I bought until needed. Probably another 50k miles. I'm a light-braker.
    IMG_5312.jpg

This rear pad was worn the most, at about 2mm+. So I replaced the rears. Rotors all around were decent, so I left them. I've heard both sides regarding rears wearing out first, but in my case, it's true.
