If no body damage, maybe a black/unpainted bumper cover to go with the steel slimline you got? It’s an opportunity for no Fs given off road setup. But I do understand wanting to keep it looking good.

I like the full bar too. I see lots of raptor lights on other 4R, I think the light bars are better use of that upper grill in my mind.

Finally got around to install the Facebook TRD push button and the MESO Customs Blackout ring. Installation was super easy with the tool provided with the button.

I installed silicone speaker baffles around all my new speakers to protect them from water since I discovered water gets in the doors. I am getting an alpine amplifier installed next Friday. I didn't feel skilled enough pulling the head unit to get to the back connections.

If you’re thinking about speakers later on, you might consider a larger multi channel amp. It could save you later on.

Installed Cali Raised driver side molle panel, which took about ten minutes. Took an embarrassingly long time mounting things to it - it's a miracle I can even tie my shoes. Very high quality and very sturdy.IMG_2230.jpg

Yeah it's a 4 channel amp to run all the speakers. Not bothering to add a separate subwoofer. I could add a powered one down the line if needed.

Found out that my local dealership had a small shipment of '22 4Runners allocated and in transit. All of them were spoken for except for a Lime Rush TRD Pro. They gave me a good offer on my '21 SR5P. So, I've got my name on the '22 Pro now! It should be arriving sometime this coming week.

So, I've pulled the rear diff skid, bumper fill plate, Bugflector II, Husky mats, and Pedal Commander that can be swapped over when I trade off.

Finally wrapped my fenders. Had the vinyl since OCT/NOV but have been putting it off. Toyota should’ve kept the fenders from the earlier 5th Gens. Simple mod that makes it look a little more aggressive.

I'm going to need a bumper and grill for sure. Not sure if the upper grill is out of alignment or broken. It's my DD so I want to keep it at least looking nice. If it was a weekend warrior rig, hell ya I would probably just slap on a primered one.

Installed the OEM rock rails. Definitely fits what I was looking for, low profile and should provide me with a bit of insurance for when I do something stupid off-roading. :itllbuffout:

Thanks man! Very happy with the way it turned out and the way it drives now with the new suspension and no spacers or pre loading.

    I washed it today.

Most of you would have been appalled at how bad it was

I had shit caked on top of shit :crapstorm:

Had to wash it twice just to get a few of the dirt layers off.......and it still isn't clean.

Almost makes me want to get a ceramic coat.

    Almost.

If you haven’t, try the foam canon. I’ve been using a super snowy soap that you let sit for five minutes. It bonds to the crap and it comes off on the rinse.

I do sometimes soap a second time and hand wash. Not often.

Mine is 8 months old with 13,000 miles also. I paid $2,000 above MSRP ($54,000 total) in May. I am really enjoying it! Congrats!

You both are slackers. I bought mine new and paid $5k over. It was one of two 4wd 4 runners in San Diego at the time. Not happy about the price at all. Happy with the vehicle.

Hope you two are enjoying yours as much as I am enjoying mine :cheers::cheers:

I have not tried it but I will look into it. Thank you.

Do you just use regular car washing soap (I use Meguiars) or do you use something special?
