Hahahaha.. that's what I tell mine too. At first she just gives me that "WTH" look. She now knows when I say, I'm going to the toy section.

I'm 6'2 and I found that it didn't affect my headroom at all. I don't think it affects rear passenger room either. My dog has never complained.

I got these a few months ago. I wish I would have know about them a few years ago. They make driving much more comfortable for me. I'm 6'4". I don't notice any difference in distances but my legs are better supported which was always a bother on longer trips.

Yeah not sure why Toyota doesn't make these in black. Maybe they do for other models - Supra, etc, but eh didn't want to spend more time to find out.

    Kyx nerfbars, TRD roof rack.
I added a screen protector to the radio and swapped all the speakers out for memphis audio speakers. I also just put in new neoprene seat covers from seat covers unlimited.

I got the call from C4 about my rear bumper being assembled along with my gas skid and diff skid plate. They estimated about 2 weeks I should have it. It will be at the powder coat shop and then I get to look forward to a “fun install”. Just to clarify the rear bumper does not look fun to install.

nice! It’s not that bad as long as you got help. I recommend a laser leveler for doing the cut. Makes life easier

I have a laser level thank goodness. I don’t remember seeing anything about cutting the rear bumper but again I went through the install video pretty quickly

The trouble with using a laser level, or even a vial level is you need to have a level spot to park on, and then you need to make sure the vehicle is level. I would pick some points to measure from, like maybe the tail lights and use blue tape to mark your cut lines, that way level or not you will be good to go. But hey that’s just my opinion.

all you have to do is check your lines with a measuring tape. It’s rarely an issue. Not that he needs one for this bumper, after all.

PPF the front end including headlights then ceramic coat. Dark colored vehicle tend to show more damages to road debris.

Okay - so I took delivery today of my ‘22 Lunar Rock ORP, and while re-installing all of the cargo components from my last T4R (Rago Molle Panels, BPF Barrier, Canvasback Liners,) and upgrading to LED reverse lights, and tail-as-turn signals, I noticed that my tail light casings have gaps in them. I’m not super familiar with how these are made, but this looks like they’ll leak. Take it back to the dealer you purchased it from; ask the service department to take a look at it and see if they can resolve the issue. By doing this you get it on record of the issue and a printed receipt so if they do leak within a year at least you can get them (Toyota) to replace both of them. Just doesn’t look like the taillight housings were seated correctly from the factory. Good Luck!

Ordered the little windshield sticker that was posted up here and drove to work looking at my tpms light. Seriously this is the most sensitive tpms system i have ever dealt with, is there a way to change the values of when it comes on? its cold at night so in the morning i'm 2psi off by the afternoon i'm back to normal, I'm so tired of seeing the tpms light and messages.

What pressure are you running? Im at 34-38 depending in winter temp swings and if they’re warmed up, and it hasnt tripped off the warning for this. The system probably triggers on differential pressure as well.

I'm running stock size general grabber ATX at the factory 32psi. I chalk tested then at that psi and they were good but if they drop to 31 it triggers the system. It's ridiculous, I guess I'll just bump them up to 34 and see what that does.

pretty sure my tires dropped down to 28 or 29 psi early winter when the temps first crashed. didn't trigger the tpms warning. went and filled them +2 psi (34 i think) to account for further drop in temps. i should check to see where they're at now that we're almost mid-winter.

Mine is a 21' with the new style sensors so they might be more sensitive then your 18'. I really wish they wouldn't trigger until like a 5psi drop like my 2012 Tacoma.

oh yeah, i forgot about that.

i'm not a fan of tpms sensors. my 2016 CX5 measured rotational speed and compared the tires against each other. that way you didn't need to have individual sensors in each tire. of course, that meant you couldn't get readings for each tire, and the system just tripped when one or more of the tires crossed some unknown rotational variance.

I am thinking about going up to Del Sur Ridge this weekend. Is it beginner friendly?
