Thanks for posting this. I ordered a kit from them today. I did not know about them. Just what I was looking for.

Very nice setup. Can you tell me where you found the cable? Is it just plug and play?

I have this. Comes with a wire kit, two USB cables, and a trim removal tool. You can order from https://dongar.tech/

You will need to remove the 2 plastic trim covers on the windshield for the mirror. That gives you access to the mirror plug used for the kit. It just plugs in and voila, you have a USB port for a dashcam.

You can tuck the extra cable length above the headliner to hide it, if you remove some trim on the headliner. You can download the instructions of Dongar's website to look at before purchasing.

Got permission from Mrs to look at trading in the 2019 Limited 7seats + auto running boards to a 2022 Limited 7seats + auto running boards. Going to swing by a Toyota dealership to see how much trade in value I can get.

Why a Limited why not TRD Pro or any other trim? Its for Mrs and Fulltime 4WD is a must.
Why another 4Runner not a GX? More little more fuel range and most importantly more ground clearance for a lazy a** not cleaning driveway when it snows, who only cleans walk way so no one slip and fall.

    2019Limited.jpg

Edit - Maybe it's best to keep the 19. Simple or already got lift and tires.

Added more usb chargers to clean up my setup. Using the ic fab mount with a ram mount that I added wireless charging too. It looks ugly, but it works great.

Nice Work and Looks Great! … Great way to also access the roof rack, etc. … Wish I could weld. How do you like the victory rear bumper and did you buy everything all at once or added spare tire and swing and later? … Pretty costly when you purchase everything at once.

Finally got to setup my seat jackers and MMP. Took about two weeks to get them and then another week to get the magnets that I realized would be necessary. Mounted my Kershaw knife and a Gerber multi tool. I also have a cheap Chinese flashlight that has a regular beam, three modes of white light., yellow and then red/blue flashing. I’ve used that thing so many times and it has magnets so it will stick to metal for situations like fixing something outside the vehicle. I think I will mount an Element 50 fire extinguisher on the back side or a road flare maybe. If i decide to buy a gun i might mount one on the panel, but I’ve avoided guns because i feel my personality and temper might escalate things. So I’ve avoided them.

BTW, the seat jackers make the seats so much more comfortable around town even. Haven’t taken a long road trip other than 40 miles to my parents. Definitely make a noticeable difference.

Ordered a Gobi Rack back in May and it came in this week! I feel bad for all the fabricators out there as I’m sure a lot of them are dealing with long lead times due to some things outside of their control.

Anyway, got the rack on, changed the oil and rotated the tires.

Installed the AJT push start button which looks better in my opinion than stock.

What's your plan for mounting the radio itself?

Main unit under passenger seat with face on the dash in the little recessed spot in front of the extra clock
I think it’s going to be low profile enough that it won’t look obnoxious
I’m going to drill into the vertical console and run the control wire (w a grommet)down behind the console and under the shifter console and under the carpet to the main unit
    Wish me luck!

Luck to you. Under seat would have me thinking about heat, probably is ok with positive air flow. I've been leaning toward the Rago type panels on sides of console but I'm not convinced yet. Winter here so I have a lot of things on hold.

It seems like a VERY common location [under seat] and the unit has a fan so I expect it to be fine

Thank you for posting this, I’ve never seen the Quick Fist before. I’d been planning a semi-permanent mount for a solar panel using U-bolts, which would require drilling additional holes in the panel’s aluminum frame. I just ordered some Quick Fists instead as a result of your post. Will see how well they work with the Yakima Megawarrior rack.

Dropped him off for his first service and to have the chrome edge running boards traded out for the trail ones.

Malls are getting crazy this time of year. Got my crossbar, mounts and Maxtrax mounted up on the rear of my GFC. It also acts as a "spoiler" when I'm on the race track! Gotta be prepared!

The open coil on the Comet antenna is a branch catcher! Consider covering it with some heat shrink tubing.

Do you have a link to it? I did not see one for the 4Runner only the Tacoma.
