For the delete, yes. There is a section in the back of the rack that’s replaced with another naked tubing.

It is subtle, but turned out great. Did you have an alignment done at the same time?

First round of bed liner on. Gonna use a little black spray paint to cover some primer spots in around the tight spots around and behind fogs where the bed liner won’t mist into and hit both sides again one at a time over the next 2 days to give it a little cleaner finish now that I have a decent coat on and will be able to flip the bumper around. Fell over twice on me mid paint, all in all turning out pretty good

Have you considered the Pro Toyota grill. It would look awesome with your black truck. I included a pic of mine with the grill I’m referencing.

I ordered a slim line bumper from SSO .
I’m planning a Baja trip in February and I want my winch and the front recovery points as well as the ability to use a Highlift jack. lead time is around 10 weeks so now I wait.

Welp- today i dove back into learning vinyl wrap. I tried wrapping my hood scoop once awhile back and it was a fail.
Today i tried again and she turned out MUCH better. Personally i dig the way it looks and glad i did two tone with matte black and carbon fiber. At some point gonna do center section of hood matte black.

    oh and i washed her.

Some before and after pics for your pleasure

it wasnt bad. I did try once before and failed though. There are a ton of CF wrap vids by CK Wraps online on utube. He shows good tips. Also he did a two piece hood scoop on a different car. Good to watch.

you dont need an oven but you do need a heat gun.

key is cleanliness and to take your time and be patient. The wrap stretches alot more than you’d believe possible. Heat gun is a MUST.

Just curious does it have a spot to insert the high lift foot or do you plan on lifting it from a d ring hanging off the bumper? It’s pretty tough to lift the truck wheels off the ground with a high lift to stack rocks or change a tire lifting the bumpers. I’ve had good success with the Lift Mate and lifting the wheel and supporting the truck or stacking rocks under the wheel to get unstuck.

Yesterday I drove to my nearest Discount Tire & swapped the OE Bridgestone Dueler HTs for a set of Goodyear Ultraterrain ATs in 265/70R17.

Yes, only $30 per tire for basically new tires, but I wanted something better in the snow. Plus I didn’t want the OE tires sitting in my basement until I found a buyer.

Between the $120 for the OE tires & a 10% Veteran discount, the Ultraterrains were $760 OTD. A smaller tire shop chain closer to me had no interest in the OE tires with 11 miles on them. BFG KO2s there would have been $1,030 OTD.

You can get a kit that replaces a section of the rack that’s attached to the basket.

    love it and no regrets

In an emergency I could jack using the winch access hole . I’ve used a hilift before (had a full arb bumper on my 2nd gen taco) and I fully appreciate how sketchy and dangerous it is, so not my first choice but it’s an option.

Yesterday I swapped the Yokohama MT's out for the Toyo AT3's and took the roof basket off. I'm in full winter incognito mode, and ready for snow.

I am also looking at the Cornfed 1" spacer for my TRD Sport. Did you have an alignment after the spacer install?

you will need an alignment after the spacer install. Anything that deals with a suspension adjustment requires an alignment.
