What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

This might save a bit of time after the hand wash instead of drying with a towel, I use a Toro ultra 260 MPH 340 CMF 110 volt Electric handheld leaf blower, I guess I could have just said leaf blower but that sounds cool, plus I just copied and pasted that part. Pros, leaves no water spots, cons, your neighbors will look at you strangely.

 

I might have to buy stocks for tissue now Lol

 

Or you could just throw a couple napkins in the glove box. Of course napkins are a little too course for sensitive skin.

 

I have a pressure washer, foam cannon, and a Husqvarna 570BTS 66-cc 2-cycle 236-MPH 768-CFM Professional Gas Backpack Leaf Blower (yeah it does sound cooler saying the whole name ). I just washed my car this past weekend and dried it with my blower as well. It made it an easy job. Especially since my wheels hold water. The below picture is all I have but they hold a lot more water. This was after going on the freeway to try and get some out:

Installed a full size spare to match my 285 AT3’s and swapped out my predator steps for the Trail Running Boards. My wife was always complaining about how small the foot space was on the pred steps.

 

Yes Sir, napkins are definitely to course for some skin, I recommend TP, not as course as napkins, gentle enough it won't make you/your butthurt. Have a roll hanging on my back window molle along with all the emergency shit, its in the back, I don't use it much.

 

This has convinced me to never describe my power tools or electronics in any way other than complete model numbers.

I haven't made the foam cannon leap yet but am in the process of choosing which one to get. I'm sure my neighbors will enjoy my overly loud Ryobi RY80942 3300 PSI 2.3GPM pressure washer early in the mornings before the sun gets too high (always so fun in winter). Now I have to go learn all my power tool model numbers in case they come up during daily discussions.

 

On this page 582, I can clearly see that the TRD Pro wheels (T4Rrunning post) and the Wheels on (Crossfit4Runner) are different (I think these are the Venture wheels).
So why do so many refer to these two wheels as TRD Pro Wheels when one is and one is not?

I don't have a foam cannon pressure washer, might have to invest in one. Your professional Husqvarna blower is definitely way cooler than my toro. I never noticed the wheels held a little water, I can see how it stays in there though, like a spin cycle in the washing machine, I have the same brand wheels, the blower will work well for that.

 

They are Both TRD Pro Wheels they are just different generations. In 2020 I believe they updated the look.

 

Correct. In 2021 they came with the center cap with the red outline circle. Otherwise they are pretty much the same.

A cheap battery blower from Amazon works. Plus, turbo start your campfire when it’s allowed.

 

This will be going on my 2021 Venture this week!

 

Just got mine up last night. Don’t forget the silicone, and I ended up using a stronger double sided tape for the front mount.

Nice. Your before and after pics are pretty much spitting images of mine. Though I got Ridge Grapplers instead of what looks like Terra Grapplers on yours (can't really tell). Looks great.

I looked those up after you first posted about them. Back injury here too which sadly becomes a way of life. Any and all tips on more comfortable driving positions are always appreciated. One of the reasons I got back in a truck (SUV) was to escape the seating position of my car (though I did keep it because I still love it).

 

So I drove the 4Runner for the first time in 3 weeks today, am I crazy or does it seem like our stearin wheel points slightly to the left of our seat?

 

You would have really got a kick from watching me climb the Gobi ladder with my backpack blower to get on the roof. Gotta get every nook and cranny!

Well since listing the full names of what I have the SIMPSON PowerShot 3600 PSI at 2.5 GPM HONDA GX200 with AAA Industrial Triplex Pump Cold Water Pro Gas Pressure Washer is what I attach it to.

 

Did my first oil change today, thanks again BroRunner for your help w/ torque specs. As we all know the dealer doesn't ch ange the first till 10k and I felt bad not getting to it sooner, did it at 6k. Glad I did the oil was a little darker than I thought it would be, but no metal flakes. Then we gave it a bath.
