Drove it up to Canyon Lake for a few days and had a blast with the wife and friends. If anyone is looking for a getaway home, check this place out. https://abnb.me/zLcO72NnZgb

Haha....I bought mine from someone who placed the order last fall and only had to wait 2 months. Not patient enough for the straight factory order wait.

looks very nice. Does the knob on transfer case stick interfere with shifting into low range? Do your knuckles hit the center console?

Got the Transfer case skid installed today...and for one that seemed like it should've been so easy turned into a major pain in the ass. Nothing seemed like it would line up properly. Finally got it, but my God that was more trouble than it was worth!

I also was hoping to put on my Front Timbren bump stops....and found out that I have nothing large enough to fit around the stock ones in order to remove them!

I'd been looking at the Gobi rack for over a year, was actually about to buy a Victory rack when I found someone selling their Gobi they ordered 7 months ago but decided they didn't want it. Bought it for less than retail, only waited a couple months to get it and picked it up from the local off road store they ordered it to.

Sadly, the one I have didn't open wide enough to fit around it. I'm going to see about picking up a larger one tomorrow that hopefully will.

After our adventure last week and me never being happy, I ordered ToyTec HD Springs for the front and rear the day we got home from OBX. Talked to Andrew there to make sure I was chosing the right springs and then ordered, they arrived and since I was a mess from cutting the grass with 80% humidity decided to drag the boy to the hangar and install the springs

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
You might look into Gaia maps or Avenza maps for you Android or Iphone.
Real handy for using off road. Avenza is free. Both work without using your phones data.

Then look for the Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) this will show you all the legal off road trails in nearby National Forests.

General link to all 50 states - MVUM:
    https://www.fs.fed.us/recreation/programs/ohv/ohv_maps.shtml

Lastly there are a lot of facebook groups that off road / overland. Best to follow someone that knows the trail. You can learn a bit from what lines they take.

I see you're a fellow Missourian, join the Show Me State Overland facebook group. Also I co-lead the Mark Twain Mafia group on facebook. Check us out we're off road almost every weekend.

I somewhat finished up my diy 3/4 roof rack today. I think it will fit my needs. Very light in weight and I believe I have less than $300 into it8E5A831F-4F32-474E-9899-6812164F1A2A.jpg4CC875CF-2506-4AC2-9A2C-5AF6357A359D.jpg
