Redoing the old TRD rims for a set of mud tires. They will look much better without the two tone spokes. Painting the caps and powder coating the rims.

Nothing fancy, added a center console safe that I was able to save a bunch on by ordering on FleaBay.

Idk if this qualifies for “wtf you do for Gen 5 today”, but anyway I just emailed Drifta from Australia. I have been researching drawer systems for my T4R and when I really noticed Drifta I thought theirs just may be it. There are a few tweaks I would ask them to do for me and I think they’d do it and I’d be sold 100%. So that’s all for now.
Oh yeah and I just went for a trail ride today, first time in the new Pro.

Had a slight twinge of regret when I saw that the original 4Runner ORP I had ordered finally arrived at the dealership(and yep, that glitch did indeed wipe out every single option I had requested for that vehicle), but, l then looked at all the extra stuff I've been able to add on with the money I saved, and the fact that I'm already having a lot of fun with the SR5P I ended up buying...That twinge of regret didn't last too long.

What was the discount on those at the time? Now I think they are going for $729 for the set of three.

Google weld porosity and you'll find examples and full explanations of how/why it happens and how to prevent. Usually it's inadequate shielding gas, or could be dirty/contaminated surface. Could also come from going too fast (which is more so leaving gaps rather than porosity), or too hot (burning through).

Just looked up my receipt, been so long since I ordered. LOL

I believe it was 20% off, The price I paid was $583. So, for full set of skids, I think it's a pretty good price. Worth the wait.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Wow those are bright! Pretty cool and no wires to run. Where did you get them?

Bit the bullet and replaced the windshield. We're roadtripping to Kansas next week and I didn't want to give the state patrol any reason to pull me over. It's bad enough driving into their state with Colorado tags on my truck.

Yeah I know, going backwards but have a few reasons why. Was 285 went to 265s.
Level is 2.5 front and 1” back and all four corners are fully adjustable coils. I’m gonna lower it but trying to find out stock height for a pro and for an off-road right out the factory. Anyone have those specs center hub to fender?
    Thanks

I'm heavily considering it. Especially since it'll be cheaper to go get it aligned and possibly re-calibrated than having all of the work done at the shop, but...I'm not entirely certain I can do all of this without royally screwing it up. *laughs*

Definitely worth it! Hopefully they'll have a Black Friday or Labor day sale or something otherwise I'll likely just bite the bullet and order the set anyway.

It's not too hard. Just unscrewing some bolts, replacing parts, and bolting new parts in.

Just watch a couple of videos and send it!

Made the key prettier. Bought blank housing from eBay for cheap and had to do some modifications to the new housing only (original key is intact) and after about an hour of fighting the panic button not cooperating have some nice clicking buttons. Haven’t put the battery back in since it’s dark out and everytime I thought I had it the car would go off :( so until tomorrow it is. Is it water proof? Probably not (because of that top right corner and I cut center left of the rubber trying to figure out the panic button) :(but does it look like something from 2021?

Might get me another housing and try again because I kinda know what to cut and what can be left alone and maybe end up with 70% water resistant. On the other hand as long as I don’t jump in a pool... or river.. or beer...
