This is a lil b’s front bumper. It is really nice and heady duty. I was testing my ARB lockers this morning and already picked up the front with my hi-lift. Super strong bumper if I say so myself and the shackles on it are super big. I think the price is just right as well. $200 for freight anywhere in the 48 states from what they told me.

 

Bummer man. I would go aftermarket. My neighbor has aftermarket and those things are sweet. I bet you can also find someone trying to get rid of theirs if they went aftermarket. Might be worth looking into if you want to keep it stock.

 

I got my call about it today.

I didn't like the lack of fast forward/rewind on these things.

 

I had ST Maxx on the LT255 also. Paid for itself in the sharp rock gardens i go through on the trips.

 

Insurance, you pay them good money every month so might as well take advantage of it and get it fixed.

 

I have used VHT Nite-Shades in the past but the finish looked dull. I had my tail lamps on my Tacoma tinted by a body shop that mixes a few drops of black paint with clear coat and sprayed then baked them in a paint booth. They still look amazing after over 11 years. It costs considerably more to go that route but worth it (IMO).

Got the shipping notification that my UCAs are on their way! Looking forward to getting this lift installed.

 

Installed the @RagoFabrication console panels and the compressor mount... Got very creative with that because we had the arb mounted in the tool box.

 

Just got word, sliders will be delivered tomorrow. Wasn't expecting them for three more weeks, at least. 6-8 week lead time when the order was placed. I'm not ready, paint prep won't be here for another week. Maybe it will stop raining by then, lol.

 

The kids bought me a Hi Lift jack. I’ve got a Hi Lift jack ORK kit on order to make sure I’ve got it covered.

 

I have a plastic stabilizing base available. I bought a safety jack base so I don't need it.

 

I fully expect to have my paint protection, detailing products kit arrive today, UPS. So I’m soon going to get started today on the prep (paint decontamination, etc.) that I have planned. I bet I can be finished with all that by the time my products get here. Paint on my Pro, well the Pro is brand new, I am not planning to have to go insane prep, but it will be what it should get and will get done.

Looks just fine. I have seen people walk away worse after an off-roading trip. This should be an easy fix unless that frame is really bent. Does it look to be more cosmetic?

time to upgrade that suspension? new UCA’s and LCA,s and you might as well go aftermarket. That would be a fun little project. Most everything in that picture of the accident is on my replace list.

What does your antenna setup look like? I have a GMRS in my Taco, and used a CBI ditch light mount for the antenna. Where’s a good spot on the 4R?

 

Who did you order from? I have a week old order from CBI with the same lead time. Just curious. But that is amazing. Those fabricators are busy dudes...

 

The radio included an antenna with a magnetic mount, so it's on the roof.

 

That makes sense. I'll see if anyone has a fender mount for thee 4R. I don't think I can do a permanent roof mount due to garage clearance. I run a 24" laird 3db gain antenna. And I don't like drilling holes for NMO mounts in the roof.

 

Installed revtek mudflap deletes.
