Really like what you did with the Milwaukee PACKOUT boxes and the PACKOOUT mounts!! What did you use or setup to attach them to your roof rack?

I use PACKOUT tool boxes for almost everything and hadn't though to mount on the roof.

Who cares? This never shows everything anyway.
I used some tools I keep in my 4Runner to help my neighbor change his tire this morning. He hurt himself with the included tools in his Ford Fusion or whatever it was, but I've got a longer wrench for removing or putting on lug nuts that makes things easier. And I pulled out an air gauge thing because his spare donut needed air.

I like that Trail emblem! My 2013 TE had no badging. I kinda like my clean looking non-emblem status, but now I'm considering. Where did you find that?

I like that Milwaukee line of boxes because they have an IP-65 rated gasket, so great for storing tools, electronics or dry goods in humid conditions.

Got my Skids installed today! Now just waiting for the Transmission skid plate to arrive and I'll get it installed. I also finally snapped and bought a set of black valve stem caps. It came with green ones when I bought it, and they were fine at first, but, it's really not tying in with my black and silver theme I'm going with.

The link requiring more work looks like a dream for me. We keep cameras/lenses in the Dobinson drawers and having too much light when assembling
them is not a problem. I'll get with my installers who've done a lot for me and run it by them...should be piece of cake for them.
Thanks for that link...will be costly but cheaper than a cracked front element in a long lens that's for sure.

If it was righty, the grip would be towards the dash. (And that, wouldnt be my want, at all).
Maybe he did that on purpose. Also,.. with molle, sky is the limit.

This weekend in total i cleaned out all of the front bumper and undercarriage plastic trim and am looking toward upgrading the skis plates in the coming weeks, threw on some tow hooks, and installed ditch lights with Cali raised brackets and a CR wiring harness going to the center console. Really happy with how things are turning out. When first starting the car after putting on the ditch lights, the car stalled, but it hasn't done it since (6 normal starts since). Would this just be because of a battery issue or corrosion? Like I said, it hasn't happened since.

Finally got some dirt and rock under the wheels today, and tested a few of the capabilities of this awesome vehicle.

Fuel tank skid plate (I think?) took a little heat on a narrow trail along a right-of-way for transmission lines (second picture). That's already got me thinking about upgrading to some sturdier armor :curls:

This. If I put it as right hand draw the grip would be facing away from me. This is a dedicated truck holster. The firearm goes from my iwb to that holster when I am going to be in the truck for an extended amount of time.

Did you have a issue with the bumper filler plate? Mine was bowed where it attached to the skid.

No, the Bumper Filler plate went in perfectly fine for me. I had a bit of trouble with the Transmission skid however: There was a little burr of metal at the corner where it slots into the engine skid plate and wasn't letting it slot in on that side. I had to file that down and then they fit together properly.

Those skids are awesome. I apologize, and might be wrong, but aren't the green valve stem caps supposed to indicate the tires are nitrogen filled? I thought I read that before, but could be way off, but more curious and hope someone else might be able to confirm... Stay well.

Yep, I had only recently learned that myself. I had noticed it when I first was checking out the vehicle before buying it and had to look it up. After putting the new tires on, I'm back to normal air in them now.

There up above 3. I ground of powder coat under mount, and in all screw head pockets and bolted a 8guage wire to the part of bracket inside the bumper and attached it to the frame. I have a solid electrica ground but idk if that’s enough. Picket up some 1/2” braided strap gonna fool with it some more, seems like a lot of people are running them, don’t need it to be super low just not so high it’s gonna smoke my final drive in my radio

Reposting... misunderstood mounting location in my original reply.

If you haven’t already, run a wide grounding strap from the antenna mount, down to the frame. You should be able to find an exiting frame bolt to connect the strap at. That might help.

Also, you try try removing the tunable tip from the antenna completely as well and recheck.
