I got the 28” one. Had to custom make something to hold it down. Haven’t been able to find anything(at the time) to make it work. Sorry it had been a while, I thought it was 20”

Finally installed my CB radio.

 

As a follow up to that horrible accident in Texas, I saw these and thought I'd put them here. It seems there were two FJ,s in this nightmare. They look almost totally crushed but the drivers walked away from both. Amazing.

Location is rear hatch with a Diamond K400 mount. Haven't taken SWR because we're currently in a snowstorm here and I can't fit the antenna in my garage.

 

How are you liking the Garmin 46? I just ordered the same Dongar adapter and looking at a few options between the Garmin dash cams 46,56,66 series.

Garmin dash cam works great. They basically have the same functionality. Only difference is the 56 and 66 version have voice command and are a little more expensive.
The cover went on perfectly. They actually provide a draft on how to install

 

Installed a 44” extreme led bar on the apex front runner rack. Since installed the front runner I’ve felt something was missing/ off and this completely filled that for me. It may not be for everyone but I’m very pleased with it. Now to get it wired up with the side lights and rears then lighting will be done and move onto prepping for the rear bumper to be here.

 

Last night got the iPad mount installed as well.

 

Installed Accessorides remote start. Factory fob.

No remote start optionToyota = crazy
Auto high beams but no remote lol.

 

Looks really good! I like those amber lights. Definitely gonna look into this.

 

Had the DOM carrier powdercoated.


Also added a 4g roto for a broverlander point or two

 

Installed Rago molle over rear windows. The shelf and console molles are coming.

Yes there was. It looked like it was near the front of the crash and was totaled but comparatively not bad. There were 133 vehicles and so far 9 deaths tragically. it's a pretty terrifying crash.

Would like to purchase for mine in the future. I own a Metallic Grey so what rattle spray can paint did you use; did you prime & clear coat as well?

 

I actually purchased 1/2 pint of same Toyota color code at automotive paint supplier. I did not prime or clear coat... I should clear coated... I keep 1/2 pint in my garage on all cars for just in case... touch up for paint chip... rock chip...etc...

 

Wired up a power panel for my upcoming lights and such. Made the mount out of some 1/8 aluminum. Bought the relay box off Amazon.

Installed the Desert Does It Seat Jacker with the molle panel and I was actually surprised at how much more comfortable the seat was. I'm 6'4" and do sit a little taller in the seat but still do not hit the roof. Install took like 30 minutes. Highly recommend!

 

Can you send me info on how you mounted the light bar?

haven't had enough dry weather to do much here in Titletown / Tampa Bay area, but rain beats the dickens out of what the rest of y'all are putting up with. Did the relay trick so power outlets would be "always on" in my 3rd gen, no pics, but search it, truly easy clean useful fix. Now wifey can have her morning coffe without wasting gas, lol.

 

Looks good. Does any part of panel touch or rub the vehicle around the rear windows? Thank you.
