Installed my radiator catcher, all cleaned up, painted and soaked in oil.
With the snow already here, I noticed impatient idiots behind me literally 2-3 feet on my rear bumper. If you ride my ass like that, at least pull my hair, damn it.
I don’t drive slow, I’m usually 3-5 miles over the limit in town and about 10 miles over on the highway. It seems it’s not enough for some dickheads. This will give me another 2-3 feet in same cases :). I hope.

I installed this last week and I highly recommend it. The installation video is perfect and it took me just under an hour to install it. Works great!

I have the accessorides one; has worked great. Easy plug and play install too, didn’t have to tap or splice into anything.

    Agreed ^

I can't speak for the non push to start ones, but the one for my wife's 2020 took about 30 minutes and worked perfect. I loved not having to splice anything, the jumper harnesses were great. As stated, the installation video was pretty damn clear.

Blacked out grill and rear emblem. More on the way!
Recently rolled over 100k, 16k since I bought it in Jan 2020

I upgraded all the interior lighting to an inexpensive LED lights I found linked here a while back. Does anyone have an inexpensive option for increasing backup light output?

This morning I ordered the Alpharex LUXX-Series LED Projector Headlights Alpha Black. Hopefully they arrive by end of the week and I can install them next weekend.

I have an appointment at noon today to have the windows tinted.

Within the next week or two I will be removing the factory running boards. I won't be replacing them anytime soon.

^^ I used some plain jane LasFit LEDs for the reverse lights (harvested them out of my wife's old car before I turned it into my daily). I liked the improvement. I will probably buy her the tail as turn module at some point. I know that even with the LED bulbs, the backup camera is way better, and my neighbors have asked me what I did because it looks like a car is driving right into their house when she backs up to leave in the early AM.

Any pics of the interior LED changeover?

Those look like a great option. For $30, that's what I would consider inexpensive.

I don't have any pics at the moment but will take pics and a short video to post later

Sirius LED makes a Reverse bulb (921) for about $15 available on Amazon. It’s an incredible improvement over stock. It’s black aluminum with led’s around the sides and on the end of the bulb.

Good choice. Lasfit bulbs are a solid upgrade for backup lights. They’re much brighter and whiter than the OEM incandescents. I also use Lasfits for the turn signals. One tip after plugging them in is to dab a -small- blob of adhesive like shoe goo or E6000 over the bulb base to the socket to help hold them in place. The bulbs are longer and heavier than OEM and some people worry that they might pop out from vibration or big jolts.

In the backup application I noticed that the light isn’t thrown out as nicely to the sides in my 4R as they do in my wife’s car. Must be the difference in the reflective optics. Some folks install additional backup lights using the trailer hitch connector and installing a light in the hitch post itself. Or bolting on auxiliary lights under the bumper like in this thread:

Good point, I'll have to take note when I go out tomorrow morning with respect to the angle with which the lights illuminate things.

I got Auxito Reverse light bulbs from Amazon for around $35 and love the light output.

I like the idea of using the hitch as additional lighting. That said, I want to find a step hitch and I haven't seen one with a built in light. Maybe I'll consider using that if the Lasfit aren't enough. Just ordered them and are set to arrive this weekend.

Windows were finished last night. It was too dark to get a good pic, so I took it this morning. Edit: I ended up getting 5% tint all the way around

Lasfit reverse bulbs are set to arrive this weekend. Alpharex just confirmed my order is being processed. It would be great if they arrived by the weekend and I can install them same time as the Lasfit. Has anyone installed the Alpharex? I saw TRDJON's video and it look pretty straight forward. If you have any tips, I'd love to hear them

Just brought this home, 2021 Offroad Premium. Wife's first new car but her third T4R.

    Ordered so far:
    1) Fully length Prinsu (no drill)
    2) Raingler Net to keep pups in the back
    3) Canvas Back cargo cover to keep it reasonable clean back there
    4) Black out covers for all chrome badges
    5) TRD Pro Grille (expensive for plastic)

Nice addition !! BTW, looks like your garage has enough room for a Tundra! ...interested if the 2022 all new model will keep a V8 as an option at least.

I originally had the genesis dual battery kit, but found that having that much weight on the driver side from corner wasn’t working out well for me; so I ended up selling the kit and doing a sort of hodge podge diy setup that put the second battery on the passenger side. C4 passenger side tray; off grid engineering primary tray with blue sea mount; blue see ACR; used 1/0 awg battery cable; X2 power/northstar group 24F batteries.

For the remote switch, it fit in this spot after a bit of trimming and widening.

If you are in the SF Bay Area and need some vinyl work (or installation work for that matter, they do have a mechanics shop as well), give 68 Auto Detail a shout, these are awesome folks that are easy to work with, deliver great results, and have reasonable prices. I'm not affiliated with them, but they have done great work for me, from full body wrap for my 911 to interior cleaning of difficult vented seats, to small jobs like just applying a patch of clear film properly somewhere.
