Modified my driver/passenger side mirrors with the RAV4 mod and embedded blind spot mirror. About 30 minutes of total install time. Why is this not a stock option when it’s the same size and genuine Toyota part?!

Next up - Folding mirrors from Car, Trim, Home: Anyone have a discount code I could use??

    Part#: 87961-42D20, 87931-42D50 - $120 on Amazon for both.

Yea I have kdss- I couldn’t get one bolt on bc of that but the biggest pain was gas skid and strap- I got them bc I like how they look and can be used as a step but fully functional slider. I love them but if you do have a friend to help, it’ll go by much faster also if you do decide to go with them, feel free to reach out w any questions

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
Did you take the whole gas tank strap off or just the driver side?

My Shrockworks sliders were a bitch to put on. I had a full tank of gas too.
I just dropped the one driver side of the gas tank strap and used a floor jack to hold the tank.

Few months ago, I had my Shrockworks skid plates installed by the local tire shop / oil change place for $50. I tipped the 2 guys working on it $10 each and helped install the 2 stick nuts.

Changed rear diff oil. Used a penzoil transfer pump and Jesus Christ it took forever to do 3 quarts. Gotta be an easier way.

Drop the spare tire and squeeze the bottle right into the diff. Lube the spare tire holder linkage and check tire pressure while you're at it.

Once I read ceramic coating was better for vehicles that do not get excessively dirty often and are subject to scratches, I knew is wasn't doing that to Macy (my pro which arrives Nov. 17, I will spend that money on recovery equipment.

o_O If you are planning on recovery equipment that would imply some type of off roading. That will almost always cause some damage (trail stripes, flying rocks etc...).
The first thing we did to ours was to Xpel wrap it & ceramic coat that. We have one small scratch where a large rock hit the front bumper. Ours spends 80% on concrete but the danger is real! Plus it gives it that "glass" look!
    Ryan.

It really helps with the water and the ice; not to mention it helps with the dirt situation as well as it doesn’t stick as much.

Not sure how concerned you are with weight and ride quality, but E-rated tires are heavy and will make you feel more of the road. That doesn't bother some people, but for others it's a concern.

I have General Grabber™ A/Tx SL rating not E. I am super happy so quiet on road and good in wet. No idea with Cooper.

    All good.

You could definitely argue better handling (quicker response), but you'll certainly feel more of the road with E-rated tires.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I really like my Falkens and have not had any of the balancing issues others have had. I had Generals on my '05 Grand Cherokee and had no complaints about those either. That was a full time 4WD system though so it's not a completely fair comparison. They were very quiet on road though.

Both tires look nice. Between the two I'd probably go with the less expensive one.

Disposal fee is only like $3-$5 per tire...at least that's the price in my area.

23,000 miles in... I'm very happy with my Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I don't think they make them in a 275 though.
