no eyelids, just cloudy plastic headlights and the lighting. Sorry to dissapoint. On that note though any suggestions for the cloudy headlights?

Had yellowing on my Audi headlights.. i wet sanded them with increasingly fine grit (I forgot exactly what grits but I’m sure a google search will yield some results) and ended with Mcguiers Plastic polish. I was scared to do it at first, but I did some thorough research until I felt comfortable with the process. It took some time and elbow grease, but they looked perfectly clear, and practically new after that.

as Travis already mentioned, sand paper, polish and elbow grease, they can look like new again plus better light output.
Grit would be 800, 1000 and 2000 wet, then a plastic polish and finally a clear coat for protection. YouTube will have a huge selection on how to videos

Swapped out the factory alternator with a Mean Green high output alternator last night and just dropped my girl off at YotaMasters in Corona for some 4.56 Nitro Gears.

Was it to eliminate skewp glare? I traded for a non-skewp hood on my Taco because of that.

    Audio build is complete.

Kenwood excelon DMX907s headunit with idatalink maestro.
double USB input replaced stock USB/Aux input.
All doors and rear hatch speakers replaced with Kenwood KFC series speakers.
DDaudio 10" (entry level) subs in the back.
DDaudio 500 watt rms amp installed under front passenger seat.
Bass remote installed in the worthless cubby hole on dash.
Stinger X, 4ga ultimate wiring kit and stinger 4000 RCAs.
Quick disconnect added to subwoofer box with an XT60 connector. Makes removal quick and easy.

My thoughts in 1 word... EXCELLENT.

This setup wasnt designed to break windshields or shake the car beside you. But it still turned out louder than i imagined. Enough bass to feel in your chest while the mids and highs are still crystal clear. No drowning out of the lyrics.

Had to order a new headlight today. Piece of metal got kicked up by the truck in front of me and I had no where to go to avoid it. I guess a headlight is better than hood or fender damage at least.

Do I actually see a skid that has recessed screws/bolts for fasteners? Every manufacturer has been wrong in my eyes using protruding fasteners. If you use it they will deform and be useless.
Thanks for the info. Time to look again...

$2k... ouch. However, I may be sold!
You get what you pay for. I am pretty sure that main section covers everything but the A-arms. That is impressive. I wonder what the cost to coat is...

    Very nice.

Where did you get the stereo and speakers from? Would you mind sharing what you paid for them?

How was the install? Take long?

I will start with install first....

Speakers in the doors and hatch are very easy. Took maybe about an hour for all 6. The idatalink maestro unit for the radio has to be programmed, and i had the radio and maestro unit installed by someone else. Took them roughly 2 hours. The subs and amp took me about 3 hours... But i wanted everything installed very clean looking and even removed the passenger seat completely to get it done. Pushing the power wire through the firewall wasnt fun. I ran it over to the passenger side then went though on that side since the amp was installed under passenger seat.

    Cost....

If you just mean the headunit and mids/highs, i got all of that from crutchfield. The headunit with maestro idatalink and maestro wiring harness, dash kit, dual usb plug and everything cost around $900. $650 for the radio alone without maestro. Speakers would be around $250 more for all doors and rear hatch. I had a gift card, reward points, and a military discount, so im just giving you the prices you would pay without all of that.

Subs and amp, Well.... I got those on a trade....
