Love that Barcelona red on the 4Runner  I've been eyeing the Thule Force XT XL and wondered how it looked on the 4Runner. It does look great on up there with plenty of space for stuff

Nice to have the winch jeepster there when you need him. Even better than having one on your own ride! Sounds like fun out there.

Not having the new 4Runner for a few more days, kinda limited what I can add.
I did get the parts in to assemble the phone holder. Proclip vent channel mount, Ram 1" balls and articulation, and Hondo Garage machined micro-adjust phone holder. Really like the Hondo Garage gear, designed & made for racing dirt bikes, these things are solid. Their Tacoma Un-holey vent clamp is also the best, but they don't make a version for 4Runner.

Went out and played with my father-in-laws Jeep at the Arroyo de la Parida in the Quebradas OHV in NM. Tons of great trails with a variety of difficulty. The runner kept up pretty well but the Jeep is a true rock crawler, so tipped my hat to the Jeep for the extreme stuff. Still a really fun day and he was impressed with some of the stuff the runner was able to do. 3DB54E0D-ACF6-4814-8B8C-9580F93481C2.jpg

Thanks bud, i think for that price ill get the vent visors, and even if i dont like them its not the end of the world.

Im running, 285/70/17 tires on 17X8.5" wheels with -10mm offset.

There was definitely rubbing. Plenty of it. Any sharp turns, forward and reverse. I had my bumper trimmed just a little bit, did the fender liner mod, and had the body mount chop done. No more rubbing at all, even off road.... The only thing that was REALLY NEEDED was the bumper trimmed. The rest was just to give me a bit more clearance for offroad, and to be prepared in case i want to go up to 285/75 in the future. Which i think i will on the next set of tires.

I really like my LasFit LED bulbs for turns. Make sure to get the ones with the built-in CANBUS or you will have to wire resistors. I think the switch-back option for the front looks cool. Are your highs/lows LED/HID? If not, the LED turns may look out of place. They seem super visible to me, almost obnoxiously bright. I can see them reflecting off of highway signs...

those are great, but may I suggest you look into the in-channel AVS visors instead. Much cleaner look.

i hope the visors work well for you and the price was reasonable imo. i thought about going 17x9 wheels but my tire guy said you will definitely need some trimming among other things. i don't off road mine a lot except for our hunting club but i have been looking at 6in lifts with with maybe some 35s later on down the road. i wonder how much mpg it would get then haha. im looking for a brush guard next though.

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
I like them on lighter Runners. White, silver, Voodoo blue and red. They kinda vanish on the darker colors.

    The same 4Runner everyone has
Took the family up highway 2 in search of isolation and snow to play in. LA had a decent storm a few weeks ago, but this is probably the last of the snow for the season. Surprisingly, Mt. Baldy (elsewhere in the Angeles crest) reopened and is currently running lifts with designated "tee time" departures and social distancing rules in the parking lot and lift queues. They're actually the only ski lifts running on the entire continent! I might try to sneak up for some spring corn before it's all gone.

All chrome is covered and off-color grey bumpers are black to match (yes I completed this on the front as well).

I used regular matte black plasti-dip. Put about 5+ layers on all around. Matches well and covers all chrome/bumpers as needed. I'll let y'all know how it holds up going forward.

Taking baby steps, hopefully a 6112/5160 suspension next. I have that on my new Tundra. But wife wants bumpers and sliders so springs are going to have to be factored in.
