Not driving much lately so checked the water level in the Battery, and slapped the CTEK charger on.

Also ordered the OEM matte Black Hood Scoop Bulge Kit from Toyota.

    Holy shit!

Add a supercharger to that spec 3, custom paint with ceramic coat or vinyl wrap, and choice of audio upgrades and it wouldn't be that bad of a deal...

    Here’s an example on eBay.

I sourced my parts from my local Toyota Parts Desk, thanks.

Ebay link comes up as generic Toyota parts, no particular "hood bulge". So is this something you stick onto the flat hood to mimic the factory scooped hood?

Blacked out badges, window deflectors, smoked 3rd brake light. I have a Borla muffler on order as well as some color matched engine cover stickers. I'll be painting the stock wheels soon as well. Falken tires in the fall as well.
Some mods I'm going to copy and do to my 4Runner.thumbnail.jpg

Unfortunately that's so damn common. Crazy how much they make from doing that, and how people go for it so often

I’d say they’re both close to equal. I got my Warn on sale, but I would have been happy with a smittybilt too.

That's nuts. I have so many things I could do with an extra 28k. People get a screwing if they don't know what they're buying or just want to look cool.

Let’s face it on a smooth paved road spacers aren’t much different from kings. The average civilian just wants to look cool with a lifted truck.

It sure is a capable off roader though. We did some good 2 track drives before the virus hit. It hasn't been washed since we got it either. The rain does ok. I guess, at washing it for now. First trip and I knew it was worth buying. Tires sucked but good truck. All kinds of pavement queens around here. Now you can't go anywhere here by state regs.
Edit..... Now I sit around home and put stickers on it! hahahahaha

Here either in Ontario. A few big fines reported. But mostly no one wants to make things worse and is following the advice to stay home. When it gets warm and nice that will be a tougher sell though!

Well, I did my first "mod" today and I plasti dipped my front valance on my 2020 ORP. I think black is a much better color, over the silver, to match the black badging and MGM color. I refused to pay almost 200 for an OEM valance, and I actually think I like this way, better. I am saving some $$ for my lift, TRD Wheels, and TRD skid plate. I watched a few Youtube videos and bought all of my supplies at Walmart. For about 20 bucks, I think it came out pretty good. It was super windy here today, but I just didn't want to wait. When I do the rear next week, I will do it on a calm day and see if that makes the finish smoother. Makes sure to use the glossifier at the end too, I think it made a difference.:dancingbroccoli::dancingbacon:Plasti front 1.jpg Plasti front 2.jpg Plasti front 3.jpg Plasti front 4.jpg Plasti front 5.jpg

STRONGLY suggest getting your grill hit with spray bead liner rather than that dip crap! Did mine about 2 years back and still looks the same as the day I had it done. Pretty much the same 'cut' lines as on yours too. 100% better IMHO

It will be temporary, I plan on adding a full bumper or lo pro style bumper soonish so it’s not a huge bother to me but I agree! A lot of if people do a vinyl wrap too.
