What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

i actually think the bigger wheels look pretty good.

 

BDS. I hadn't heard of them, but the guy at the shop I'm dealing with suggested them. They're ball joint, as opposed to uni-ball, which should hold up better in the elements here.

Do you have that little spot in your console? I'm gong to put a diamond base there with a 3" arm socket with a metal mount built for the baofengs. I have the 16" whip antenna on mine so I have to keep it kind of low to the console but I can let you know how my install goes.

As long as they are just doing tires, and no one is going under the vehicle, its not that big of a deal... Worse case, they do a little damage to his vehicle and have to pay to fix it.... Nobody gets DEAD.

If his Discount Tire is anything like mine they wont even fuss about fixing the damage they cause.... I got a free set of aftermarket wheels because they scratched up my SR5 wheels. No complaints at all... They offered to order me another set of SR5 wheels from Toyota or i could pick from what they had in stock that fit. I chose a set they had... In the end i was happy they scratched my wheels up LOL

Getting gas this morning and noticed this nasty scuff above the gas filler. It’s a weird spot so only thing I can think of is someone hit me with their mirror. Fuckheads

 

That blows but at least it looks like no dent or paint damage. That'll buff right out with a little light compound and wax afterwards. In a shitty situation it's the best case scenario.

Washed and did a quick spray wax. Need to do the clay bar and paste wax but I ain't got time for that shit with 2 kids under 5yo. I was lucky to get the spray wax on it.

Greased the U-joints and the slip joints for the first time. Easy job. Cleaning of the extra grease coming out of the U-joints took the longest.

Noticed half of one of my raptor lights was burned out. Just pulled them both off and returned it to stock since I don't use them anyways. Looks better without them.

Scuff buffed out no problem. Couple minor pen head size chips in the paint Will get out the griots orbital and do a good detail this spring.

trying this 303 spray on sealant. Will see how it holds up.

 

my rig is in great shape....Trail Edition and I think this Edition is highly underated in the community.
