What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

I like those a lot! I sold my carpeted Pro mats to install rubber weather tech style mats, but I wouldnt mind having those rubberized Pro mats at all.

 

Mine came with both. The carpet mats were installed, and they just threw the rubber mats in the back.

 

Think I'm driving too much lately...

Yeah, but if you ever want to take your T4R out for a night on the town, you have brand new carpet!
In all honesty I will probably keep mine in the bag until we sell it (which we have no plans for ever). Shit, maybe the fronts should come out when I take the wife out (in the summer). Lol

 

Actually they could make cool doormats for the garage door into the house

 

Got my 4Runner back after driving a Cruze for a month. Got the LED DLR/Highs in. Tomorrow hopefully I can get the low beams in.

Do you have a junk yard or any used parts suppliers around you? I have found a few key pieces @ the local "u-pull it".
Otherwise, maybe try rock auto & see if they sell the knob.

Thanks. I checked w local dealer and they don't sell the knobs, only the whole ac control unit. I haven't gone too deep with the local yards, need to call a few and see if they have a 5th gen.

Hold up---the 2020's have buttons on the outside for rolling the back window up and down??

 

They have been around for years on some models

 

maybe it’s a limited. I don’t remember seeing that added to the list of new features

 

It's got the Off Road rear garnish and lower valance.

 

It's an Off Road Premium. I thought they all came with the buttons but I'm not very educated on 4Runners (yet).

 

The rear window buttons are on all the “premium” models AFAIK

 

I don't have them. I thought it was a Limited option

 

It goes along with the smart key

 

Sadly, my key is dumb....

 

I think that's new for 2020 then...my 18 Premium has dumb keys and no buttons. :-(

 

Is that a mod that can be added though?

You do realize the key can still 'turn' the back window ^v on non push button starts. Honestly not a big deal.

 

But that requires more effort...
