Which set is for the head lights?

 

H11 for Low beam and fog
9005 for high beam.

Once it gets dark-ish (midnight in alaska) I will take some photos.

 

F5’s installed today.

 

Installed a TRD CAI with some issues posted in another thread.

 

Went full hipster and turned the rear wiper on, just to see. Dumb, wasted money that could have been used elsewhere.

 

This is about as dark as it gets right now. Which is great considering the sun hasnt gone down for a few months!!

 

Should have went with HIDs

 

I didn't want to pay the price and these are so much brighter than the stock bulbs.

That is a crazy detailed writeup. I learned I have the best HIDS and I learned that XD no longer carries them since the new owner decided to drop the Phillips hid.

 

what? when did they do that I love my phillips HID's crazy good light output.

It said it at the bottom of that writeup. I guess the new owners of XD dropped the Phillips brand HIDs. We will have to source them from some place other than XD. I am sure they are readily available from someone else.

Did you grow a well manicured beard, wear a flanal shirt, and skinny jeans while you used your rear wiper too? I imagine not... you must try harder to go full hipser

are h11 set for porper dispersal for lowbeam?

 

I did go to Starbucks this morning, but AR670-1 will not allow a man bun or beard.

 

Finding them could be a challenge. They're not a "real" bulb. Someone is taking the Philips bulbs and mounting them on a standard H11 base. Philips doesn't manufacture an "H11 HID" bulb.

I get good coverage with these. They mimic the filament position very well.
