Shrockworks has a relocation kit available that you have to use for their dual battery kit and I think you can purchase it separately. But I feel it only moves it up a few inches. Maybe you can put a snorkel on the pump inlet and remote locate the a filter to a higher location. But I am not sure if the pump is water tight in the first place??? With the stock location of the pump you would have to be in some pretty deep water. I shy away from water myself but I guess sometimes it is unavoidable.

Thats a good idea except for drilling a hole in your airbox and hoping you can get it completely sealed. But would you put it below the filter or above? The pump blows all the air out of the system when you shut off the truck so I think I would still put a filter on the end of the hose. I pulled my foam element months ago because of fear of it sucking the stock foam element and ruining the pump. Did you do this yet? The pump is much happier after doing this. Sounds like a jet or turbo when you turn off the truck.

So just run a hose from the pump to that Uni filter and mount the filter in a higher location. If you get water above the hood inside your engine bay you will have other problems IMO than just this pump

between our white 4Runners and choice of snowblowers no one could tell us apart. LOL I have a 24" Ariens snow thrower like yours! Well...had, ex took it in the divorce but I had it this winter for the last time and it threw some snow!!!

It stays with the color you choose, so just have to press the button switch to change

 

I swapped out the stock grill for a full black grill and added a '74 era OEM Land Cruiser emblem and a TRD stripe badge. I have the lower grill insert as well but trying to figure out the best way to install.

It was really easy to spaying it on. I took it off and set up a stand to spray it on. Didn’t want to paint near the runner. Took maybe 2 hours at the most and most of that was drying time.

 

Not sure what series you had but this one is the Platinum. The best I can describe it is obnoxiously over powered. That’s why I love it.

I’m pretty stoked with it. Easy to apply and very forgiving. And as ya said, removal is always an option if ya change your mind

 

Well i had the unfortunate bad luck of somehow having my keys press into my unlock button while it was pouring last night. All 4 of my windows went down

Just let it dry in the sun with fans (for a day if possible).
I used to do water damage.
Was there standing water inside the floorboards?

 

Loaded up the Runner with my tools, recovery stuff and a little fishing gear then drove down the shore Saturday AM. Got my beach buggy permit for the portion of the NJ shore that I go to! Been wanting to do this since I got it last year, but now I will be all set for the spring and fall striper and blues fishing run.

Worked on my boat and trailer for a couple hours then went to hit the beach. I honestly had some trouble with my ARB EZ Deflator. I bought it used and it looked in perfect condition, but maybe its broken. anyhow, deflated tires the old school way.

I also got myself stuck and unstuck in a matter of ten minutes. I shoveled a bit/switched to 4LO, etc...and was making little progress until...I'm sure everyone is aware, but if not, let me tell you that ATRAC is some wizard shit. I barely touched the gas after engaging it and I was out in seconds. Incredible. Not that I needed any more reassurance about the 4Runner, but that was really some delicious sand covered icing on the cake haha.

I’ve had mine only a few weeks and already installed: led interior lights, led fog lights, installed auto start (accessorides), installed trailer brake controller (redarc tow pro), black out kit, mountain decal over TRD pillar logo.

Ordered and waiting for delivery of TRD pro rims, tail as turn and headlights, back side window flag decals.

In design process: rear cargo area floor delete and custom cargo box replacement

Still want/need: victory lo profile front bumper with light and winch, Baja rack and ladder, paint/replace rear valance, side step/rock sliders, shift handle and tint the windows.
