Blacked out the 17 Trd off road. Bumper accents, logos, roof rails. No chrome left. Auto flex dip. And a little limo tint. Love it. ad7e6045e4a8fdcc56148b3c8c008c30_0ff395b30eacd7a5d6dbb519b70563833d493410.jpgc71b7561dbf1227df702e493eeee3fee_77c4d2a9f848c9c259d448c2d25ddbb4ea83b285.jpg7d6af80089516908f1eee1e9e2b201f8_5b2259ef2c2a3054b98216bea3478c6468516d5f.jpg2c990cece5c03ed571e35fa02e053067_832292143ee761b97c09fb83196925dc6ba07fdd.jpg

WOW!! That looks awesome!! Is that Auto Flex dip the same type as Plastidip? I love the black look on the lower valances and eventually want to do that. I also really love the look of rims and don't want to replaces so I may even do that too instead of having them painted black. Again great job man!

Check out the local shop here in orlando. 360 auto concepts. Couldn't stand the stock wheels and accents. It's one of kind now and I didn't have to drop $2k on new rims and tires. This dip/auto flex should last 3-5 years with care. The auto flex gives it a gloss look and extra protective layer.

Wow that does look really good. I've never heard of Auto Flex until now. I always hated the flat look of Plasti Dip but that gloss looks awesome.

    Carter pimpin' that shiny bling!

I changed my oil yesterday with 0-20 Mobil 1 Extended Performance along with a Fumoto drain valve in there at 2500. Made me sleep better at night that the first oil change would not happen at 10k. As a matter of fact, the dealer will never change my oil. After seeing how involved the change was, I'm leaving the stripping of bolts and pinching of O-rings in my own capable hands.

I didn't realize there was anything but flat black. I just asked the guy to do what he'd do if it was his. He said with a metallic paint I'd go with a gloss on the accents, wheels and badges. Since he's working on brand new Teslas and Raptors I trusted him. Pics don't do it justice.

Got it stuck in the mud for the first time. Boy was I lucky that someone was right there, and had a tow strap on them. So far I've not been very happy with the Nitto Terra Grapplers that came with the TRD package

They're not a very good tire. Not great off road and pretty bad in the rain.

Wish I did this earlier myself. Curious if you don't mind me asking but which model of Fumoto Drain Valve did you purchase and any accessories?

I went with the F103S, the short snout is brass of course, and I got the kit where the white barbed fitting click on and off the brass snout to use a hose during draining. I also got the locking collar that goes around the valve body and prevents the valve opening accidentally. At least a good inch of clearance between the bottom of the Fumoto and the stock skid access plate. Worth every penny, as I noticed pulling the stock drain plug sprayed and splashed oil everywhere. Not used to working with this crazy thin oil!

Picked up my Schrockworks bumpers from the Farmers Co-op, Unloaded them in my shop. Took a gander at the instructions for the front bumper. Jeez, looks like it will be a chore. What happened to the old days of swapping a bumper in 15 min?

Yeah, I agree. I would have been even better to be able to stack the two crates. So I made two trips to the Co-op. Ah well. Been reading Samsung's thread about the install on his 2016(?) He did a really great install, and a GREAT write-up on the install. Hope to be able to get these swapped out in a few weeks(?) My work/ travel schedule has been really crappy lately. Intend to pick up my second set of rims/ tires on the way home on Friday.

Replaced OEM running boards with Westin Pro Traxx 4 boards. Next mod: Baja roof rack full length with sunroof cutout. It's on the truck now from San Diego (really Tijuana) to Virginia

I don't have a 4runner yet, but am planning on getting one. Has anyone tried removing the spoiler on their 5th gens?
