What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

My wife is a retired Veterinarian and the State Board would hang them out to dry if they do not offer care for all aspects of the patient and then something happened and the client told the Board they were never told about the issues. When you spout garbage without knowledge you sound just like you sound, a Homo Stultus.

 

My dealership straight up told me, even if the aftermarket stuff installed by Toyota dealer, the factory warranty on related components are voided. Parts like cv, axle boots, ball joints, etc.. Here in Denver CO it not uncommon dealership install spacer lifts on 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra. Y'day I check a 6th gen 2025 4Runner with spacer lift installed by the dealer. For some reason if the shock leaked I highly doubt the spacer manufacturer would take responsibility about the shock leak. It would be out of customers pocket.

If I was in the same situation I would go to a Toyota specialized 4x4. Throw the wheel spacers in trash. Since the front shocks are shot replace a 4 shocks with or without lift with a reputable brand. Eg Bilstien5100 as entry level or if you want to go Bilstien6112+5160 combo / Ironman FCP or even high end King, Fox, OME BP51, etc..

 

Bet you wouldn’t call Charlie that to his face.

Other related parts should only have a warranty voided IF the installed item caused the failure......
Not just because something was added like a 1-2" lift that doesn't change the angle of your CV drastically.

TRD Pros come with a 1" lift on the front, does Toyota void its own warranty when Toyota installs said lift?
I don't think so!
