Ha! I wondered when you posted that if you were somewhere near enough to a state border to do that.

When we travel to Cal, the price change at the border is mind numbing. I can't imagine anyone in Blythe Ca (4.90-5.10) isn't buying their gas in Ehrenberg Az (2.90)

This is part of why I rarely have any interaction with dealership service departments. I've only had mine in for a fuel pump recall and even then I was nervous about it. I've had a few times in the past with wife cars but have generally left unimpressed if not out and out irritated.
But this is why I hate to see it creeping in to Discount Tire. At least with them it's limited to wipers and alignments, and their not pushy about it either.

Just got my OEM parts from the most recent 25% sale at Sand Mountain Toyota in good order. They threw in a key ring which was kind of nice of them.

True story, although I was living in Birmingham, AL I bought my 2013 4Runner at Sand Mountain Toyota. Easiest new vehicle purchase I’ve ever done, those guys actually care.

    I don’t dislike dealerships.
I guess we are fortunate to have at least one that I know of in our area that I can trust. Been dealing with for years purchasing and bringing in for service and other than the corporate office instructing the service dept to have me remove all LED’s in order to proceed diagnostics because of what ended up being a bad throttlebody (even after I told them that was the code). They replaced said throttlebody the I put all of my LED’s back in without any further issues….. I blame Toyota corporate for that shenanigan.

I’m told we have some dealerships in the area that one would want to just drive past…
I’ll never darken their doors unless it’s really an emergency!

I feel for everyone that encounters such BS, Toyota owners deserve much better!

Yeah, I think I’ll do my own maintenance. I have no problems getting under the truck and getting dirty. At least I know it’ll be done right.

Plus I can have my teen son help me; time for him learn and he can eventually do them for me.

I went to Costco to fill up on gas. We’re headed to Mammoth and this will be my 4R’s first long drive (5.5 hours).

    Oooh look, another mod.....

I use my Kroger reward points. 1,000pts = $1.00 off. If I use my Kroger Mastercard to pay for the groceries and gas, I get another $.25 off a gallon of gas.

    WaaLaa. $1.25 discount.

Had my mods on hold a long time. Updated the stereo with a sub months ago. Just got the sub working with a control nob a few days ago. Wife loves it so that's cool.

Its been a huge learning because its all software on the amps which is really interesting.

I know this isn't much of a post but im just bored.

Software looks like this if anyone is curious. Not mine, just off Google images.
