I'm currently looking for a switch, seen a review that this one is 4" in diameter and almost 3" tall?

Looks good. I was lazy and just cleaned mine up with an alcohol/mineral spirit concoction. Then hit it with a 2k raptor liner. Been 4years and zero issues.

Ive got a laundry list of things I need to do asap: fix my leaky/unable to be removed rear differential plug, replace my SPC balljoints, get my 34s mounted, trim and BMC, get alignment, get inspection….and install the battery shutoff switch. I hate winter in PA it’s impossible to get stuff done outside.

I think I paid about 15 Amazon bucks for black overlays for those chrome grille pieces. Available from several sellers.

Picked up some new to me headlights and a black factory roof rack with rails and got them installed today. Bonus that the headlights came with LED bulbs!

Looking good. I’ll probably have to get some this year for my 2011 SR5. Where did you pick up your lights?

I drove my baby 4R up to our cabin in the mountains of SoCal. It snowed about a foot in the last 3 days. So it’s the 4R’s first time on snow.

The roads were plowed and even my driveway was already cleared. So I didn’t get to really drive on snow.

I might go drive around to look for a parking lot that hasn’t been cleared.

my 4R safely tucked inside the garage:

I changed one of the rear brake calipers today with a remanufactured one from Advance Auto before the next snow storm came. It was pretty quick and uneventful. I need to do one of the front ones next.

For some reason they start to surface rust quickly. Spray hi-temp clear, or whatever color, to keep that clean new look.

Installed crossbars today. Soggy day, and I ended up soaked from leaning against the wet car, but it looks like it was the only break in the rain/snow for the next couple of days so I just dealt with it.

The reman one came coated with something. It’s very shiny silver. I’ll see how long it lasts.

its a light spray coating when the package it up, but a couple of washes or driving in the rain will wash that off quick. The reman calipers arw not like the OEMs. Spray it now before they turn, or you’ll be wire brushing them and cursing

They are OEM calipers that have been rebuilt. I don’t care if they get rusty as long as they work.

Yes I know they are OEM rebuilds, but they rust immediately comapred to the expensive OEM ones from the factory. I dont know what they do to them during the rebild process but this what it looked like within 1-2 weeks after I took the original off from 2011.

@TrailSpecial22 I've used this (not necessarily red) on a lot of custom cars and it holds up really well in my experience. I also like that it is brush on so no overspray etc. Gets some good thick coat and cures up smooth. Our T-Bucket for example has the calipers WAY out in the open so we need them to look good for car shows.

She's a dirty, dirty girl currently. Just dropped the winch bumper off for powder coat, so the valance is toast come warmer weather.
