What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

A Sherpa Materhorn fairing fit with no modification. Use some cheap Amazon brackets.

I did, but, according to the person I talked to, they didn't offer the correct mounting hardware.

 

I contacted Sherpa and they acted like they had no idea what I wanted. I sent them your picture and they wanted to sell me a entire rack. I could have done mine for about $75 if I would have purchased 4 bolts and hardware instead of boxes of said bolts and hardware.

Switched out the factory JBL 8in with a JL 8w3. Sounds so much better than factory. Now has all the low end that the factory JBL system falls short on.

 

Stepped up to a 275/65r20. Turned out pretty good for a 34.7 inch tire.

That looks great! Do you need a regear or tune with 100lbs at each corner?

 

That is a good question! I’ll find out more when I put some miles on it. I’m 2wd so I’m not be be doing any off-roading. It seemed like almost all 10 ply tires were right around that 59-60 lbs mark. I looked around in 275/60/20, 275/65/20, 285/60/20 and a few 295/55/20. All were within a few pounds of each other

Does it come with mounts that fit a Pro rack? I like the light cut out, I don't do enough off roading to justify rack lights.

 

No, you'd need some of these brackets like these. I filled most of the holes inn the fairing with dummy screws.

The brackets I used have a lower profile, my deflector is even with the rack.

 

He’s been crying about it since he bought it . Waaaa ! Hurry up and sell it so we don’t have to listen to you anymore.

 

best supplier for a downward firing exhaust pipe tip within Canada? (short of cutting larger angle off pipe). I’d like to direct the exhaust a little more away from the tire
