Installed the Hybrid Conversion Kit for my 4Runner. OEM. 5 minute installation. Compatible with all 4Runners. Now I can park at Trader Joe’s or Starbucks without fear of being keyed.

While it doesn’t increase horsepower or fuel economy, it does boost the social credit score.

No. Just to avoid the side eye I get from those Prius-driving, latte-slurping, soy-milk-saturated, all-organic, fair-trade, locally sourced dweebs who clutch their pearls at the sight of my three ton high profile four-wheel-drive gas guzzling vee-hicle.

(Just kidding. I don’t go to Trader Joe’s or Starbucks.)

That show was so hokey. Bell B222 had Capton wire that was brittle , LTS101 series eng. had serious bearing issues .It wasn't until Honeywell bought them that they made it to TBO.[/QUOTE]

You mentioned stupid funny shows, and King of the Hill was the first one I thought of, which led to the Boomhauer image and an attempt at writing as he would speak.

I was trying to be funny... evidently I didn't try hard enough. :^)

Sorry, man. Maybe it's too early in the morning for me to try to be funny.

Sorry that's a show I can not stand W/that Twangy voice. It took me a while to like Family guy & mainly due to Stewie. I miss Ren & Stimpy

Bilstein 4600’s are now installed up front. (Thanks 4WP)

First impressions on the drive home is that the ride up front is certainly a bit less boaty, less brake dive but I’m not sure if it’s a notable difference. It’ll probably be a while before we know if it helps my SO’s rare motion sickness (happens on certain roads we encounter rarely) I did hit a short, bumpy dirt road on the way back and it was fine so I’m not worried about light trail duty, I’d say there’s less rocking at least?

If anyone’s curious, it was roughly $750 out the door. $200 for both shocks, $460 for labor (including alignment), $35 for shop supplies, $55 tax.

I don’t know if I’ll do the rear shocks anytime soon. One side is weeping a smidge but without any further info or funny business, I’ll procrastinate on that and it’ll be DIY if it’s the last thing I do!
