Check the Yakima park numbers, they may be different models , some of those baskets are longer

So, I just spoke with my local dealership. They spoke directly with Toyota who said that the products are exactly the same. The difference is that the higher priced part comes directly from Yakima while the cheaper part is a "Toyota" part. They are exactly the same.
I asked him what the difference was then, and his response was, "It's basically the warranty that's the difference."

Could be that they appear the same because Toyota’s website is reusing the same pic for two different models.
    Not the first time.

Your ad from Atlanta shows the 00222 ($599) as fitting 12 models and 195 variants but does not list specific vehicles
Your ad from Atlanta shows the 60200 ($470) as fitting 2 models and 52 variants but does not list specific vehicles

I found these parts listed at Sparks Toyota with the 00222 listed for RAV4 and Tundra and 60200 listed for 4runner and Landcruiser.
Also at Sparks the prices are nearly the same at $462 for the 60200 and $473 for the 00222.
Sparks also describes the 00222 as a canoe carrier but then lists another part as a canoe carrier immediately beneath the 00222 listing.
I think they have these listings screwed up because they are reselling a 3rd party part.
I would echo jwctaco and verify part numbers through Yakima.

Sparks link. Scroll up and down to see the various parts as it is a list of a bunch of different exterior accessories.

The way the local Toyota dealer described it to me is that one is a Yakima product and the other is a "Toyota" product. However, they are EXACTLY THE SAME product.
Essentially it comes down to warranty. Toyota warranties their products for a year, Yakima limited lifetime.

Jeez, so I ran them through a few different online dealerships I've had luck with over the years and it's all over the place.
Fitments vary, prices from $460 to $599, some will ship and some will not, shipping costs vary - A LOT. None of them mention the warranty info you received from your dealer...
I'll repeat the sentiments from my previous post.
    Good Luck!

My last Yakima basket set up I bought in 95’ , granted I took care of it, it with my 18’ Tacoma when I sold it. Can’t wait to get my new set up installed on the T4R . It’s Yakima’s Lock N Load platform, cool thing is that I can get in and out of the garage with it on :bananadance:

One of the reviewers on the Yakima site also stated they had theirs for 21 years on a couple different vehicles.

Nah. I just use the rust reformer/paint technique. I don’t want any waxy greasy film on metal parts. I want to be able to do minor paint touch ups in the future. Of course I live in a no-salt zone so YMMV.

...^^^... I buy things from them and I would show them the lower price. It's easier if you go to the parts counter to get the discount.

Sometimes it is an item that the customer didn't want also or slow moving stock.

These just look like they would wear quick. Anyone with experience with this product? I do like the looks of them.

Did a neat little mod today after work. As the driver I have literally no need whatsoever for a grab handle but I do have a need to keep a second pair of sunglasses in the vehicle for when I may have a passenger who forgot theirs or if my main pair gets lost or broken.

I actually have experience with them, this is my third time purchasing them for my third different vehicle. The only wear that I have had was on the bottom side of the passenger mat in my Tacoma because they didn't have the holes for the mat hold downs so the material was just being pushed on the hold down day after day and after 2 years it was starting to erode the bottom most layer. For my lifestyle and where I live even if I have to replace them every two or three years they are still worth it for me because I'm always dragging mud, water, dirt, salt, snow, and slush in my vehicle and with how good their coverage is my carpet stays pristine. In a perfect world they would be made out of the exact same material as husky weather beaters but with the coverage of tux mats but life is about compromise lol.

I got it from 4Runner Lifestyle. Time will tell but so far it seems nice. Installation wasn't too bad. I can see large sunglasses not fitting though so if you are someone who wears pit vipers or similar sized frames I'm not certain they would fit.

A friend of mine had his garage opening enlarged (heightened), so he could get his car inside without unloading his bike. :^)

Don’t think we have a dedicated thread for that

Looks like I have a rear brake caliper that seized up while my wife was driving. I jacked it up and it spins fine once it cooled off. Not sure if something got stuck in there and it’s now good or if it needs to get replaced. :(
Anyone else have issues with theirs?

Went for a (relatively) short drive up towards the summit, darn it that most of the forest service roads are closed for the season (Dec. 16). Got to test the OTT tune above 5000' ASL (Datapoint: 40 mph rolling start to 60 mph on a 12% uphill grade took around 3 seconds) and a few 6" packed snow drifts to just dart around on. Most of this side of the sierras there is ok cell coverage but I tested out the signal booster anyways...worms like a charm!
