I already have the back one but I’m going to wait for this ungodly SW Florida heat to taper off before I tackle that one .

Replaced the front Toyota on my grill. Posting this because in case anyone is thinking of ordering the letters from cartrimhome in black, well they're not black..lol.
They're more like the MGM color which I didn't mind since my runner is MGM, so buyer beware if you're wanting these letters in black like I did. They fit great though.

This will completely change the way your 4runner audio sounds. I went ahead and swapped speakers all around with matching Infinity reference. All plug and play, and now it's worthy of an audio system that should exist is a 50k plus vehicle. I did add some sound deadening while I had the door panels off. Did not stop the outside noise but greatly improved the vibrations and door feel. My amp/subwoofer days are over so this is as good as it gets for me.
I do spend an awful lot of time and energy into reading and identifying integrated amps, dacs and speakers for my home audio.

Nice! Which Infinity did you get, and can you point us to the bracket?

Is that speaker plug-and-play, or is there an adapter needed?

Where did you get the wiring harness adapter? I do see the mounting bracket on Etsy.

Its been a few months so can't remember where specifically, but its a Red Wolf speaker harness adapter. You plug the factory harness into it, then this to the new speaker. It comes really long so I shortened mine down as there's only so much room in the dash. The only somewhat tricky part is you have to solder the inline blocker into the harness (supplied with the new speakers). It will end up looking like this.

Not a lot of good spots to stick a phone on this dash. Drilled a 1/4" hole for a $5 17mm ball, three minute job. Pardon the dirt.

I noticed mine don't seem loud. I'll prob hit up the audiophiles for some guidance. I def want a stealthbox. Loved the one I used in my taco. Still have it.

they remove what im going to describe as the jumbling of the treble/midrange of the OE speakers. With some settings adjustments the OE HU will do a better job of separating the treble and midrange.
