Completed my Greenlane immersion with the wee widdle wadder install. I really like how incredibly light it is at ~8lbs.

Rotated tires, changed oil and filter and gave a foam wash. Love that Chemical Guys make their products smell good!

How were the trails? There's been a lot of rain lately, especially further east.

The trails were fine. I asked about if when we checked in. They said they drain pretty fast.

Forgot to post that I installed an RCI roof rack on my truck a few weeks ago. Install was pretty straightforward other than the part where two 5'10 dudes trying to get it on the roof.

And for fun, last weekend I needed to bring my old basket to my friends house to install it on his jeep. And the only option I could think of was Mount to the roof rack

Removed Pedal Commander after I started recieving throttle.position sensor and pre collision errors.

Now that it's removed no more issues... it was fun to play with for the few months I've owned it.

    Nice man well done

In hindsight I wish I went more conservative with the viper cut, or none at all, they don’t look great from the side. But, my Runner is paid off, it’s just for fun, before I ditch the bumper cover for steel bumper (I’m one of the few interested in going with an old school dom style bumper w/ a big stinger bar).

    Question:
It’s hard to see in your photos, what’d you do with the two bumper cover mounting points on either side of the valance? They fasten to metal brackets.
Most folks cut a funky curved line down there and keep these intact. Some cut them off. I kept these mounting points but sanded, sprayed black, bent brackets upward to make them disappear..

I like that one actually, aluminum eh?
Funny you have a sense of humour and call it your widdle wadder.

Can’t help but wonder how do you fit two feet on one step to stand like normal and actually access the roof rack? And, wouldn’t the tow of your shoe make contact with the paint? :)

I stand on the sliders and tires so I can access both sides, and then I want to grab one of these little guys off Amazon for my second foot, and call it a day (I’m only 175lbs)

Well if you weren't looking close enough, it kinda resembles Budlight (my personal fav beer). But yeah, they advertised the Molson and Lablatt on Comedy Central when I was a teen. Of course that was when Comedy Central was actually worth watching (mostly).

No it's just a simple animation. It 'glitches' every 30 seconds or so. It is only USB powered.

If you order, make sure you let them know you want black. The page doesn't really have a place to specify black (if you want black, which matches better), but you can contact them or they may contact you after you place an order and you can tell them then.

If you're interested in a lighter color, I inadvertently ordered gray at first. They were very nice about sending replacements. This is what I ordered at first, and didn't have to send them back:
    IMG_1663[1].jpg

If you don't care about the lighter color, they are yours for the postage.

Yesterday picked up the 4R from the shop after getting full hood, full front fenders, front bumper, door cups, mirrors and the small strip of paint on the rear bumper done with PPF.

They also did all the windows with 70% ceramic tint except the sunroof which got 35%. I didn't want to darken the windows, I just wanted the heat rejection ceramic offers.

I think I'm done spending money for a while now... o_O

Enjoy the benefits of that ceramic tint, I was honestly surprised at how much of a difference it made.

Holy shit, I thought they were aluminum at first until I saw the RCI logo. Is that what I can expect mine to look like after a hit? Please tell me you set off a small block of C4 under it

Edit - Nevermind, you must be replacing the damaged ones. What were those?

I washed my rig and installed Rokblokz mud flaps today. These are the smaller of the two 4Runner sizes. The installation was easy, and 20% off made them seem like a bargain. My dealer removed the front mud flap when they installed the wheels and tires before I purchased the vehicle. I live on a gravel road and had a couple of small chips low on the quarter panel up front, and I knew that not having a mud flap would beat up the paint there. You can see the chips in the last photo. A Toyota mud flap doesn't clear the MT 285/70, and the rear flaps already left a black line in the paint of the fender flare. I can buff that out, but the stock flaps are junk. Hopefully, the rock sliders will block even more of the rocks coming off the tires. The Rokblokz are considerably better than I expected!

I saw another thread in which there was discussion on two different kinds of air filters you can get from the dealer, and how the kind with the prefilter layer is getting harder to find. The STP filter seems pretty solid. Will give it a try!

At the dealership getting major service schedule work done. Sat in the new LC, flipped the rear seats and flexed the small cargo lids...nope, don't like the flip up rear glass. I did find the little 'cooler' switch under the center console armrest intriguing.

    Stock so far…..
Today we are taking the stock Terra Grapplers and moving them to our son's 2-door Wrangler JK. He has some low-kilometre LT265/70 "E" K02s, but doesn't go off-road nearly as much as my wife does.
She brought the Runner to our cabin last week and really thought the "road" was too sketchy for P-tires.
Son will appreciate the improvements in fuel consumption and quieter ride; we get a bit more confidence in the bush. Win-win.
